I am so happy to have come to Palm Springs Modern Dentistry. The service I have received has been of the highest professional quality, starting with front desk staff to the dental assistants helping in the back office. As for my assigned Dentist she has been excellent professional and very caring to my dental needs. I and so happy to have had an excellent team in this office. I relocated from LA 6 months ago and needed a new dental office. After a very disappointing experience with another dental office, I selected Palm Springs Modern Dentistry and very happy I did! Everyone from the front office staff and dental staff (Fernan who polished and treated my teeth) made it all a wonderful experience. My new dentist Dr. Johnathon Khoi was very personable and am happy to have found my new home dentist.

Recently moved to the desert and needed to find a new dentist. So glad I found Modern Dentistry. Dr. Khoi is fantastic as is his hygienist (Taylor), technician (Aurora) and the rest of the staff. Everybody is super pleasant and absolutely no pressure or up-selling. Everything is precisely explained with images to help understand potentially problematic areas. I definitely recommend Modern Dentistry if your looking for a dentist in the Palm Springs area.

I had my retainer come off at dinner the other night and they got me in right away to get it removed. Everyone was super super nice and helpful! Jules and Aurora were the best.

Great customer service , especially from Sheila shes great at answering all my questions. Very friendly environment. Myself and my husband finally found a practice where we feel very comfortable.

Warning: This office runs a SCAM to increase billable amounts by 1: Telling patients they'll have to come back again for the service they made the original appointment for and turning a single cleaning appointment into two office visits 2: Requiring a deep cleaning when when only a normal cleaning is warranted 3: Demanding a cash payment for the deep cleaning instead of running the charges through dental insurance. ____________________________ Made an appointment specifically to have my teeth cleaned and made that abundantly clear on the call. I'm one of the lucky few who rarely needs a cleaning. When I do go in I'm consistently told everything looks great. This office started by taking an extensive set of x-rays without asking anything about when I had last had x-rays done. That should have been a red flag. Without prior records they have no way to know if what they are seeing is new or whether my condition is stable. At no time did anyone in this office ask for prior records. The dentist then came in and commented on my good dental hygiene and asked when I last had my teeth cleaned. I made the big mistake of telling them that it had been over a year. There was an instant change in her demeanor, she got very serious and all of a sudden I had big problems with gums and bone loss. Absolute BS. This woman had absolutely no way to know whether I was having recent problems or not and didn't care, she just wanted to increase her billable amount with a scare tactic. Then she said they couldn't do the cleaning at that time (which was the ONLY reason I walked in their door to begin with) and I would have to come back later. Worse they threw on a "Deep Cleaning" charge and REFUSED TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE I came in for unless I paid extra out of pocket. Again, the dentist first commented on my good dental hygiene and only became "concerned" when told my teeth hadn't recently been cleaned. This was clearly a scam to increase their revenues and I and others I k

I appreciated that I could be seen promptly for dental emergency (veneer fell out). Unfortunately, PS Modern Dentistry could not help me in replacing the veneer and I had to be referred to my former dentist in San Diego.

This is not Modern Dentistry, I had a appointment at 11 am, I had all my paperwork completed and ready, I received a call to come in early at 10:30 and I did, When I got there the place was not that busy, I signed in and waited, 20 min's , then I asked why they had me come early, they were very irate. and then told me I had to wait another hour, WHY, you said to come in early. I asked them to make a new appointment. I was told that they would email me a referral to another dentist. Never received one. Modern Dentistry charged my insurance $141 dollars for a picture of the broken tooth. My insurance said that has to be wrong and they only pay $5 dollars for picture. I could have done it with my cell phone. I have had a different dentist each time I went. The story goes on and on . I'm finding a new dentist That has fair pricing. and keeps appointments. This hygienist, I feel , was thorough but her overview of my teeth/gums was discouraging since it makes me wonder what depth of cleaning I’ve received every 4months from the previous hygienist! I’m fastidious about my dental hygiene so…!

Avoid this dentist. Issues I've experienced at this practice:. 1) Erroneous billing practices, 2) consistent appointment rescheduling, 3) incompetent staff, 4) excessive wait time for partials, 5) horrible communication including refusal of primary dentist to return phone calls, 6) correction scheduling of appointments to correct previous procedures gone wrong, 7) intimidation by office manager for posting critical online reviews, just to name a few. My advice:. seek a dental practice that demonstrates professional dental care.... avoid this business.

Had an early morning appointment for my wife and me. It had rained, and this is Palm Springs, so chaos reigned and we left a half hour early. Unfortunately, it took us and hour and a half to do our usual 20 minute drive. We called in, and told them we would be late. Didn't matter. When we arrived, my appt. had been cancelled, and my wife's appointment would be running late. The next appointment for me would be IN SIX MONTHS! We had another appointment after this, and they told us that it would be well after that time before they could finish her. We changed dentists. That was even worse!
