Because of the pandemic I wasn’t able to go to the dentist but this office made me feel very comfortable and now I always come for my annual routine checkups. The staff is so wonderful in making you feel welcome it’s always a pleasure leaving and my teeth always feel extra taken care of!

Dr. Shimizu is an excellent cosmetic dentist in San Jose, California. I recently had the pleasure of having all my upper teeth redone and reshaped by him and the results were astounding. Not only was the procedure quick and painless, but my teeth look and feel better than they ever have before. Dr. Shimizu is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain every step of the process to me. His staff is also friendly and welcoming, making for a great overall experience. I highly recommend Dr. Shimizu for any of your cosmetic dental needs. In addition to the cosmetic work, Dr. Shimizu also offers general dental care and is great at detecting and addressing any potential issues with your teeth and gums. He is also very thorough in his examination and takes the time to explain any necessary treatments and procedures. The office is clean, modern, and equipped with the latest technology. Appointments are easy to schedule and the wait time is minimal. Overall, Dr. Shimizu is a top-notch cosmetic dentist who truly cares about his patients and their well-being. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a excellent dentist in San Jose.

I came here three years ago for a tooth implant before Covid and it was done incorrectly where there were big spaces around the new implant . It started to become loose after just few months, and because of Covid I was not able to revisit the dental office until last year and the dentist fixed it and told me it won't become loose again and after a month the implant started to become loose again until it fell out completely, another thing to mention when my insurance checked their rates with other dentists in the city they found that this dental office is more expensive than average when they charged me again for fixing the same loose implant that I did originally here for Thousands of dollars . After checking with other dentists who do Implant procedures, I found out that they provide warranties in case it fails but not here this dentist doesn't believe in providing warranties for his work.; therefore I don't recommend doing an implant here based on my experience and consider looking elsewhere before making an appointment!

Avoid this place by any means… I had horrible experience billing, treatment and service.

Think twice if you don't want to pay for the visit 2 years ago like me. I visited their office in 2020 and I always asked them to check my insurance cover before my visit in order to make sure I had enough benefit cover. They told me they did checked the insurane but I don't think they did at that time. Two year later they keep sending me bills and I just got their text message this afternoon in the year of 2022 asking me to pay NOW or they send it to the BAD COLLECTION AGENT. I'm terribly feel bad for the way they worked. I just read a review from another patient that she got her bill after over a year and I got my bill for the visit 2 years ago. I got to know that I'm NOT THE ONLY PATIENT got into this situation with this office. Bad review and I will never want to come back here for the second time

1. I went to attach my root canal cap, they told me the cap will last for atleast month but it came out in 7days 2. They took my insurance and on same day mentioned that my insurance will be covering everything, later after one year I am getting mails form them charging every month 'finance charge'. They never called me for entire one year for this charge, when i got email and called them they told me that they will send collection notice if i dont pay charge which I was not aware of so if you are visiting them, confirm all your finance.

Very friendly Dr. and I'm happy with high quality results on treatments. Clarifies all questions during and after treatment. Very much loved this place.

Decent dental work, every time I would come here for a routine cleaning it always felt like they were trying to up sell. I know they had to pay for the remodeling , but don’t push on extra services to someone . Moved to a different dentist and get better dental care without the upsell hassle.

First off the staff is AMAZING, from the ladies in the front Lailani and Crystal. They made me feel very welcomed. I love how informative they are at every step of the way. I never feel rushed like other places and it’s very clean!! They are very attentive! If you’re looking for a local dentist, look no further, I highly recommend Dr. Shimizu! It’s a beautiful dental family!

Dr. Shimizu and staff are wonderful! I use to hate going to the dentist. Now that I have found Dr. Shimizu and staff it’s not so bad! They are helpful and very patient.
