The staff at Islay are fantastic! So professional and helpful and happy!! You want to see happy in the office when going to a dentist! Dr. Walters came in after my cleaning, checked my teeth and went over a few things, he’s very knowledgeable and hospitable. Puts me at ease as well as the dental assistant (Kim) was great! She immediately checked with my insurance to see if it covered something I need at next appointment. Very helpful and thorough! My teeth look & feel great! No pain! Another great visit to Islay Hill Dentistry! Such a comfortable office with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, had a thorough cleaning and lots of helpful information on how to best care for my teeth. They have a large screen in the room where they show photos of individual areas of your mouth that you need to pay attention to. I find it helpful to see the teeth like they do to know what to focus on at home.

Today was my 1st appointment at Islay Hill Dentistry and I am very impressed. It was very clean, the staff was pleasant, and I felt very safe with their COVID protocols. Dr. Walters was professional and kind. I am so relieved to have found this practice! Update: For 2 years I have only had my teeth cleaned at this office, but last week I needed some work done. Dr. Walters had to numb both upper and lower jaw, but I never felt either injection (a friend had promised me this!). He offered me a device to keep my mouth open that was a game changer for me as my jaw "locks up." Both teeth were done painlessly and in a timely manner, all while Dr. Walters regaled me with stories about The Eagles, and his dogs. This was absolutely the best dental experience I have ever had. Later that day after the numbness wore off, I had to remind myself that I had work done as there was no soreness anywhere, not even in the injection sites. Best dentist ever!
