I normally don't go out of my way to review bad experiences/places but today I was left flabbergasted. My son had an appointment with the Dr Eric Allen. Mind you I did a lot of research before I decided on this family dentistry. I wanted to pick a place that was inviting and comfortable for my kids and Today I was left speechless. As soon as he came in to meet with us his first question without introducing himself like a professional was " Do-you- understand me?" as he looked at me up and down, didint smile at all to make it seem friendly. I'm a Hispanic female who's main language is English, just because I look a certain way doesn't mean I don't speak English. That was the first uncomfortable red flag that left me humiliated in front of my son. The second remark was, instead of asking my son and making him feel comfortable, he was asking me questions about his condition like " does he have any swelling? " to which I responded, "I think he knows his mouth better than I do, and he would be the best person to ask" he then asked " Do you guys not live together?" Number one that has nothing to do with anything and is none of his business. He then asked " who's his dentist " why would I be there if this was not his dentist?? His attitude and vibe were completely uncomfortable and condescending. When I asked what was the aftercare, he told the assistant to explain it to me right now and took off. The whole consultation lasted no more than 5 minutes. It is exactly what I don't want in a family dentist. I hope he reads this and takes tips about how to properly communicate and connect with his patients. I will be looking for another place to to take my family. The one star was for the helpful hygienist who was very helpful and polite.

Nobody likes going to the dentist. This office is chill, friendly and offers a professional environment. Staff is responsive to questions and concerns. Even if it's been awhile since you've visited a dentist, there is no judgement or admonishment. I'm a senior and a new patient to this office. I highly recommend.
