Dr. Mueller and staff went above my expectations for safety precautions during these trying times. Dr. Is an excellent dentist. He has an amazing staff. I highly recommend Dr. Mueller! Absolutely the best.

Buena Vista Dental Care has been my dentist since transferring here for work over 10 years ago. I was relieved to find a Dentist and Staff of such high caliber after coming from the front range. Dr. Mueller and his staff’s professionalism, strong character and compassion has done wonders to improve my dental health. Over past 10 years I have had several procedures and felt fortunate that I had a dentist of Dr Mueller’s experience. And this from a big tough guy who really doesn’t like going to the dentist.

Our family has been going to Dr. Mueller for 10 years. He has always taken great tcare of our family as has never steered us wrong for referrals to ortho etc. Highly recommend this office!

I called to get in for a broken tooth, a front smaller tooth. I got in 3 weeks later as a new patient. He addressed the broken tooth, and also took full xrays. He advised that I had 2 teeth that needed attention. The broken one and an older root canal that needed to be redone. Both he said would need root canals and crowns in the end, he told me he was referring me to an oral surgeon in Colorado springs. I spoke up quickly about going to the springs was not an option for me, as I am a caregiver for my husband. I asked him directly "Isn't there any other surgeon closer than the springs?" He said "no." The bill alone was nearly $3000.00 without the costs to the surgeon in the springs. I did not follow through with the referral, but decided to go for a second opinion, online I found a dentist that performs oral surgery in Salida just 30 minutes away instead of 3.5 hours to the springs. I went to the new dentist this morning, 11/11/19 and the second opinion was my broken tooth was vibrant, living, salvageable he filled it and I was done in an hour. No root canal or crown needed. The bv dentist either did not know about the dentist in Salida or I was intentionally misled. I believe a dentist following best practices would know and should know of practicing professionals near their location of service. This bv dentist should refer patients to the dentists that practice oral surgery in this area rather than sending patients 3.5 hours away. I saved myself from an unneeded root canal and crown; at least $1800. Not to mention travel, possible hotel costs, and pain. This practice is not in the patients best interest. I hope this review encourages this dentist and office staff to review and address how they could better serve their clients.

5+ years ago I had an extensive full mouth reconstuction including several implants. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Mueller and his entire office.

If you are not already a patient, do not bother to call!!!!!!! Cindy the receptionist is very rude and so is the "office manager", who is the Doctor's wife at home!! They could not schedule an extraction; claiming that even in an emergency they can only schedule an exam two weeks out and then two weeks after that they may be able to schedule a procedure, but "no promises"! Since it is difficult for the doctor to estimate the time it takes to do an extraction he will only schedule one if you are in the dentist chair and he NEVER DOES AN EXTRACTION ON THE SAME DAY AS AN EXAM!!! Pretty awful for a rural dentist serving those who live rurally, in a rural area. I think he is happy with the patients he already has and is not interested in helping anyone else.

Love the friendliness, confidence, professionalism and care of the staff. Great new technology with appointments and comfort of waiting room.

Dr. Mueller saw me on a holiday weekend, on a Saturday, on an emergency call. (Need I say more?) I was in a lot of pain and calling different dentists around town. No one was answering as it was over a holiday. Dr. Mueller actually answered his phone, not an answering service, him. I was crying, asking him if he could see me. He said he could meet me in an hour at his office. After meeting up with him he quickly saw I needed emergency work and antibiotics. Dr. Mueller was kind, caring and truely helped me when I was in dire need. I am very greatful to have met him and his wife and HIGHLY recommend him and his office. The office has the newest technologies, is extremely clean and was very affordable. 5 stars all the way.
