Absolutely the kindest more understanding dental group I have ever been to. I have horrible dental anxiety and they don't judge, they listen, make sure you are comfortable and feeling completely relaxed. I'm so grateful to have found them 💓

Updated Review: Although, I no longer live in Colorado. The Office Manager at Northgate Dental reached out me to talk with me about my past experience with Northgate Dental and about a recent crown that had popped off days prior. It was the second time a crown I had pop-off in the last seven years that Northgate Dental originally completed. Unlike my first tooth that pooped off a few years back (while I was still living in Colorado) that was not re-attached by Northgate, the Office Manager at North Gate Dental this time reached out to me. She was caring and concerned about my previous interaction a few years ago and sincerely apologetic. She followed that with asking me to have the dentist here in Joplin, MO, reach out to her following the Dentist's completion on the health assessment of my tooth, and barring no pain, no decay or damage, Northgate paid to have the tooth re-set for me. Thank you for taking the initiative and accountability to communicate with me about this unfortunate circumstance. Renewed faith.

Always no waiting.

The office is beautiful and the front desk staff are nice, but it is abundantly clear that they prioritize making money over the rest. Dr. Carter comes in for such a brief period and barely would even evaluate my dental health. They also recommended this new retainer ($3k and will not bill insurance) that would push my lower jaw forward, I explained that due to a jaw surgery I had years ago that this would not work for me and cause me pain, they responded with "Oh it's not that much, it'll be okay" - completely brushing off my concerns and clearly not caring about my health. My new dentist responded with "I would never recommend that with your history". Northgate dental just cares about profit.

My wife has a paralyzing phobia of the dentist, and they handled her with remarkable care, compassion, and afforded her every comfort available. They did amazing work and we absolutely could not be happier with the service and people working here. I'd give more stars if I could.

They were very professional and nice ... even when I was having a bad day. I can also say they have expressed more concern over my dental health than any other dentist I've visited.

I just want to say that this place and everyone in it are amazing!! I've never had a better experience.

I had my first visit at Northgate Dental today with Melissa. I was educated about my periodontal disease and how to treat it. I felt they really cared about my prognosis and gave me the tools to succeed in the treatment.

So happy to have found this crew at Northgate Dental. Staff is so professional but they make you feel sooo relaxed (which is important when visiting any doc or having a procedure). They are efficient and certainly know what they are doing no matter which cubicle you are assigned you are well taken care of! Easy for me to say I highly recommend them but more importantly go visit them yourself and be as impresssed as I have been with Dr. Carter and the fantastic staff he has surrounded himself with.

Wife & I agree, Northgate Dental’s exceptional! Dr. Carter is all about cutting-edge technology, techniques and just the best care & service. Hats off to his highly trained and professional team. Dentist was great but highly overpriced if you don't have dental insurance or mediocre coverage

Sally is an amazing EDDA! She made me super comfortable and at ease during these stressful dental procedures! Would def recommend coming here to see her!

Northgate Dental is the best dentist office I have experienced. Staff is always positive and courteous, and my questions are answered thoroughly. Having Melissa as a hygienist has been a support for me. She always make sure I am comfortable, and provides excellent service. She really cares. Her knowledge and expertise help me maintain good dental health.

Dr. Carter and his team are truly exceptional! Every visit is a "top shelf" experience…two thumbs WAY up! Chelsea is one of the best hygienists around…the genuine concern for her patients is immediately evident.

Don't go this established bunch of crooks, way overpriced and the dental plan is a SCAM, they lied about my wife having four cavities, she went for a second opinion turns out she only had one, Also they will Con you into treatments that really you don't even need, buyer beware. I'll be reporting this established to the BBB!!!!!

If you hate going to the dentist, you're going to the wrong place. And feeling that way can cause you to neglect your dental health. Northgate Dental is not like any other dentist's office. You're treated so well that you actually enjoy appointments... and look forward to seeing your friends there! Plus your teeth are well cared for – they know their stuff! They're pretty far away from where I live, and there are a ton of closer options, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Totally worth it.

Friendly staff and great service. Ive always hated going to the dentist but they have little touches to make you feel more comfortable. Would definitely recommend
