Dr. Shawn R. Harvey, DDS

I disagree with last post. I'm from AZ and my Delta Dental is based in AZ and had no problem using it. In an RV with poor cell service I finally found Dr. Shawn Harvey and got appt for Fri 8/26/22. Due to mix up, he couldn't see me at 2:30 as planned but he stayed AFTER 5 pm (Fri, remember!!!) and recemented my loose crown. He warned me I probably had cavity but since I'll be home on 9/15 to see my regular dentist Dr. Harvey said he wouldn't do x-rays or more on tooth but showed me the area of concern and write down the tooth number on his business card in case my dentist needed more info. Dr. Shawn is very personable but more importantly he knows what he's doing and his great office staff went out of their way to help me - a patient he won't likely see again. YES! I'd recommend him in a heartbeat and say he's the greatest. Valerie P.

Nice dentist or rather a nice person ( hence the 2 stars vs a 1 star rating) but utterly useless. He would not provide any treatment at all , not even cleaning a cavity left after the loss of an implant ( much less fill the cavity ) His office WOULD NOT ACCEPT your insurance if you are not local to CB. After leaving his office I went to another dentist in town who provided me with a full treatment to the issue I was having and who accepted my insurance. Sorry but could not recommend at all.

Great friendly team, very easy comfortable teeth cleaning with Kelly. Massage chair and such a caring gentle touch professional Hygienist. Would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great dentist and office team. Busy so plan early for appointments.

This place is unprofessional and unorganized. The front desk help is also rude and combative. I went in for a teeth cleaning and got charged for my husband's unpaid balance (thought I'd be a good wife, newly married) and I paid it. Come to find out he pays everytime he goes in with his care credit. A couple weeks later we get a bill for 200, no description of services. Today he goes in for a scheduled appointment to pick up his new teeth, we were looking forward to. He is rudely told he has no appointment and asked to show his appointment card. He had been sick in bed all day and got up just for this. If you're going to cancel call! If you're not and messed up on your end at least be nice about it and don't blame your customer! We will be taking our teeth elsewhere.

The office is incredibly disorganized.... forgotten appointments and suspicious billing. A rude and combative receptionist all add up to a horrible experience.

Dr. Harvey spends time to answer questions, give good individualized care, and refers to specialists when that is more appropriate for better care! I am always treated with very friendly service here!

I went in for the first time needing a crown re cemented to an implant. Melissa could not have been more helpful and scheduling and rescheduling me to get in. Dr. Harvey fully explains everything before and while he is doing it, is meticulous and gentle. Five star review

Dr Harvey is the best, he takes the time to inform and educate the patient and stands by his work, which is always outstanding! He is an extremely skilled Dentist with a wide variety of offerings and an amazing crew! They have helped me through emergencies and always at such a fair cost, I can’t say enough good things!

Best Dentist in the world, the staff is also the nicest. Nothing but good things to say about the group of people in this office.

The office is well organized. Dr. Harvey is very easy to communicate with. Everyone there is very good at their job, very efficient and very nice. I drive half an hour out of my way to go to him, there are several much closer to me.

Dr. Harvey, his assistants, and his hygienist are always friendly, professional, and extremely caring towards my needs. They are always quick to fit me into their schedule and have always provided their services at a very fair cost, while also accepting my insurance. I have been visiting Dr. Harvey for years now and will absolutely continue to do so. Thanks for being there for me, Dr. Harvey and team!

Hands down best dentist I have ever been to. They were able to see me at 9am instead of 3pm and Dr Harvey did an on the spot extraction and had my bad tooth out in all of 10 seconds!!!! Wonderful work, thank you Doc!!! Staff was wonderful also!!!

I experienced a cracked tooth from about two years ago. I had been to the dentist where I lived before, and it was decided that I didn’t need a crown at the time. The tooth continued to crack, so on the recommendation of a friend, Sunni Hamilton, I made an appointment with Dr. Harvey. This was my first appointment and meeting with him. Dr. Harvey determined a crown was now necessary to save my tooth. In fact, even though Dr. Harvey hadn’t planned for my first evaluation visit to result in a crown procedure, he adjusted his schedule to do the procedure during the same visit to avoid risk of further damage to my tooth that could have resulted in me losing my tooth. Dr. Harvey has excellent chair side manner. He is gentle, and guides you through each step in the dental procedure. The crown procedure was successful. I experienced no pain, and while I dislike having my teeth drilled on, the experience was actually as comfortable as I could have hoped for. My tooth was badly damaged, so I expect it was a challenge to save and repair. Dr. Harvey’s staff is friendly, polite and very helpful. It was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve never liked densits, I didn’t like the sounds, the smells, and most of all the pain after. After a few horrible experiences I did not go for a long time (years) I then had some pain I could no longer ignore. I found Dr. Harvey, he’s very kind, polite, accommodating, and best of all gentle. He worked with me to build a plan to restore my dental health and comfort. Dr. Harvey and his staff are awesome and have shown no sign of judgment. Dental issues can be embarrassing, however not at his office.

Dr. Harvey is the best dentist my family and I have ever been to! He does amazing work in a very professional and caring manner. We love Dr. Harvey!

We were visiting CB from out of town, and my husband has terrible mouth pain. Dr. Harvey agreed to see him immediately and worked him into his existing schedule (which we know wasn't empty as others were in the waiting room). He did a thorough exam, explaining things as he went, then clearly explained possible treatments and his opinion on the best course of action. We couldn't be more pleased and recommend Dr. Harvey to any locals or people in need of urgent dental care while on vacation.

Dr. Harvey and his staff are GREAT! They’re so friendly and professional, and they always make sure that I’m comfortable with whatever procedure they might be doing. I will never go to any other dentist.
