Comfort Dental was one of my last picks for a regular cleaning, but they were the only ones with availability sooner than six weeks from my call date so I settled. Unfortunately, my visit proved why they fall so far on my list. The receptionist greeted me like a scene out of a movie. She kept her eyes glued to her screen and talked to me like I was interrupting her from getting her work done. The office provided me with zero exit paperwork, even after I requested something so I have no clue which doctor I saw. And the way the hygienist dealt with me was obvious I was just another name on a form instead of a patient that needed care. This place screams chain all over it. I should have waited past my 6-month checkup date to get superior service instead of giving Comfort Dental the time of day.

I had such anxiety about going to a new dentist, because I'd had the same one for decades. But this one is close to my home, and takes my insurance, so I took a chance. It was a great experience. The office staff was so kind and warm and Dr. Severance actually did a consult before putting me in the chair. He was able to fix an implant that had been bugging me for months and clean my teeth in the same appointment. It was my first visit but if I get this treatment every time I will keep coming back, no question!

I used a water pick/floss unit for the first time at home after brushing (i feel fresh and truly clean!) unfortunately, an old filling from elsewhere popped out. Maria and Dr. Matthew Rowan to the rescue upon walk-in with no notice!! (thank you all so very much, no needles or drilling were needed this moment. quick, easy, painless and the way the dental tools flew about safely was like watching expert Cirque Du Soleil performers kinda, impressive! (and overall fun!). be well in 2023. :) smile bright in the new year ahead!

If you need a dentist and you live around GVR, I suggest you come here. Friendly staff, reasonable rates and informational dentists. Great job on my extraction Dr. Brimhall. I am totally recovering and feeling almost 100%

Excellent team of dentists and support staff make dental care as pleasant as possible. Dr's take the time to explain and answer questions even on busy mornings. Never thought I'd be recommending a dentist but I definately do in this case!

Scheduled an appointment for 9:30am for a routine cleaning, and showed up 10 minutes early to sign any necessary paperwork. I was left unattended until 10:30am and this likely would’ve been longer if I didn’t decide to leave. I hope you take your customers’ time more seriously moving forward.

Have been phobic about the dentist for years but this place made me feel very "comfortable". Very professional, no pain from multiple extractions. Gave me good customer support getting my dentures.

I've been going to this dentist office since I was pregnant(Back in 2015).. I must say I am very surprised of the negative reviews on this place!!! I have got a few procedures done.(fillings, root canal, tooth extraction, etc).. with the same dentist Dr. Brian Severance. He is definitely one of the best dentist I've ever had. He works good will allll ages! As well as his awesome dentist assistants!! With my busy schedule I really enjoy them calling me to confirm appt time and dates... I really don't complain on the wait. If I make my appt on time the longest wait is about 15mins. When it comes to teeth I put all my TRUST at this dentist office. Looking forward to referring more people here! NEW REVIEW - Again Ive been going to this exact dental office for about 7 years now. I absolutely am grateful for the team that works that this practice. Ive been Brain Severance patient since I was 19 years old. He has helped me with multiple issues. He has been honest, kind and really makes sure you are taking care of yourself. Ive recently have met Kristine Villanueva about a year ago or two ago. She did a Root canal procedure and ended up doing another one on the same tooth. (This was my fault) when I came in I didn't have high hopes that we could save my tooth. WELL SHE DID!!!!! and after complaining about pain so much she actually told me to come in ON HER DAY OFF to get me out of pain!!!!! That same exact week!!!! Ive never felt so thankful. Again I just wanted to leave another review. This practice is so gentle and understanding the wait time is never long and will take care of you! Go ahead and make a appointment. You'll be happy. I had a tooth extraction and initial phase implant procedure performed this morning by Dr. Brian Severance. I appreciate his willingness to educate the patient in layman's terms about what he is doing and giving an excellent overview about the process involved. Very personable, as is his assistant. This is the definition of professionalism. Follow-up on June 17, 2022: I just had new tooth placed by Dr. Severance, followed by my 6-month cleaning. I could not be happier with the level of care and professionalism by Dr. Severance and his team. Due to the pandemic year of 2020 I had allowed the now replaced tooth to develop an unrecoverable cavity during that extended period with no observation, but I'm so happy to have a very solid implanted replacement tooth now in place. Modern dentistry and a very professional staff and environment!

Everyone one that works here are very friendly. They are all aware of your needs. Dr. Rowan is very understanding. He speaks to you as a person not a patient. You need to make an appointment and they make it so complicated. When you finally get your appointment they take their sweet time to do things. They need to improve the customer service and have a sense of urgency with their patience. They are good to charge, but not good to work.

Pleasantly surprised with my visit. Went to another dentist in the area and was told I needed a ton of work. A friend of mine recommended I try these guys out for a second opinion, glad I did. Took some time for them find my insurance info and get me back, but all good. They informed me that they were short staffed for the week. Makes sense. After the exam, they only pointed out a few areas of concern, not nearly what the other guy was pushing me to do. I felt completely comfortable with what they recommended. Took time to answer my questions. Overall, wasn’t bad.

Came here thinking it was an orthodontist office because I needed a new retainer. It wasn’t, which was fine! Except I got sucked into an exam in which at the end of it I was told I had 6 CAVITIES! I had told the doctor before my exam that I had never gotten a cleaning as my family didn’t believe in dentists growing up. It was almost believable that I had 6 cavities, but I felt in my gut something was off. I decided to leave and get a second opinion and guess what? I only have 2 cavities. the doctor who did my cleaning at the other place was shocked to hear you guys told me I had 6 cavities. you guys 100% tried to take advantage of the fact I told you I had never seen an actual dentist.

So I've been coming here for about 3 years. 3 times I have had problems with their fitting and Crowning. Its supposed to last 2 years or more but every time I go here it lasts 4-6 months before falling out. I've learned over the years what not to eat and what it can Handel (I've had a front tooth crown since I was 10) this place scams you. The glue they apply wears down after brushing your teeth and any pressure doesn't matter if its eggs or a soft sandwich it comes out. A waste of my time and money. I regret ever seeking this place out to refill my crown.

Went down there for deep cleaning for the first time. Dr. Brian was amazing !! Very professional, friendly and pays attention to detail. Staff are also awesome. Would highly recommend !! 👍🏾
