The staff and dentist were really nice and understanding to the past trama I had with another dentist. I was nervous, but they took their time explaining everything to me. I've already scheduled follow up visits and would recommend this office.

I do not recommend dr.higgins for any of the services. He offers . This man is more concerned about money and time.i was to have a root canal and other services performed .however when he started to numb me up there was not enough time for a local to work before he tried injection with a needle .i was startled with immediate pain from the needle and shouted out .at which he became highly agitated and aggressive stating “we dont do that! WOAH ! We dont do that here there’s kids at which i responded what you were doing was hurting me what am. I supposed to do ? I suggested he sit in the chair and let me do the same to him at which point he said he would Jack me up . At which point i offered him the opportunity to try.and told him this encounter was over .VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . This office is about money plain and simple when the dentist found out i had no money to be gassed he became aggravated because it would take much longer than anticipated and decided to use the needle before a sufficient amount of time had passed in order for the local anesthetic to make it a more comfortable process also at the time this occurred the dentist was late returning from lunch.and i was the first patient after their lunch time if you are on disability with Medicare and Medicare this is not where you want to go this dentist is only concerned about what he can charge for ,his previous work i had done a month earlier i am already having issues with and was marginal at best . I had assumed it would be finished up properly at next visits there were to be 3 and i only completed one visit at which time i paid my portion in full before they even started really a VERY bad encounter the staff were very nice . It was the dentist that was the problem pain is an expected element when seeing a dentist but his attitude and behavior was uncalled for

Truly the best family-oriented dentist! Everyone is extremely kind, professional, and informative. I have been going here for five years and have always been treated with superb care and respect.

Let me start by saying that I have been a patient of Dr. Higgins for 9 years and see him approximately twice a year. I am extremely disappointed in my experience at Higgins Dental this week. I originally came in because one of my fillings had fallen out. I was extremely upset/shocked to find out that I needed my 4 wisdom teeth removed as I have never had a tooth removed in my 40 years. In my opinion, Dr. Higgins demonstrated a cavalier and flippant attitude while discussing this with me. While his bedside manner has always been blunt and no nonsense, his attitude during this visit had a profound effect on me. I left the office not only shocked, but sad and in tears. I called the next morning and spoke with the receptionist. I told her that I had a bad experience the day before and wanted to send my records to another practice for a second opinion. Her only response was “Ok, I’ll email you the release form.” I honestly thought she would have wanted to find out why I had a bad experience and perhaps attempt to sort it out with me but she did not care. I have been a patient of the office since 2012 and have referred many friends and colleagues to his office. I expected to be treated with care and compassion. Instead, I am now in search of a new dentist.

I’d been searching for a trustworthy dentist ever since moving to Jacksonville. After an unfortunate experience, I was left skeptical that I would ever find a dentist I could trust. If you feel the same way, look no further than Dr. Higgins! The whole team here makes the experience very relaxed and comfortable. They are very straight forward, letting you know what to expect while being extremely caring.

Took my grandson yesterday had annual checkup. Office is very covid-19 friendly.

I have been looking for a dentist to go to since moving to Jacksonville 8 years ago. I ended up going back to my home town dentist because I had a couple bad experiences here until finding Dr. Higgins! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt like I was being well taken care of throughout the whole process. They have extra safety steps in place with COVID as well. My cleaning went great. and the X-rays were also a seamless process. I will be coming back here for years to come. Highly recommend.

Great practice and friendly staff. Dr. Higgins is highly skilled dentist and has a genuine compassion for his patients. He diagnoses conditions very accurately , follows up after treatment and definitley puts the patients needs first. My referral to his practice is highly recommended.

I just recently relocated to the area from out of state so I was in desperate need of a new Dentists office and happened upon Higgins Dental. Its right down the street from me (so the convenience is great) & their set up is incredibly high-tech and sophisticated! I felt like I was in a new-age office with all the equipment they have that makes cleaning your teeth a breeze. I also recently just got my teeth laser whitened too (literally yesterday) and they did a phenomenal job. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable and you always are greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. 10/10 Recommend this dental office for all your dental needs!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Higgins for years. Him and his staff are wonderful. Always a great experience but Today I had the best cleaning I’ve ever had with Megan. My teeth feel and look fabulous!

Recently my wife and I had back to back cleanings, x-rays, exams, and followup dental work at Higgins Dental. Their services were very efficient, caring, and professional. We were listened to very thoughtfully and made to feel very comfortable by the outstanding staff and Dr. Higgins himself. Being shown before and after pics was new to us AND really helped to understand what was needed to be done and very well completed. As new patients, we most highly recommend Higgins Dental.

Theeeeee best dental office I have stepped foot in since moving to Jacksonville! Everyone was super friendly, nice and patient! The office was very clean. But the biggest plus was the cost was the best prices I’ve ever seen very reasonable! Love this place glad to say I’ve found my new favorite dentist!
