Geneva Cornwell C.Ed.D. I am so happy to have found Dr. Sand. At age '79' I was not sure whether I should go through the expense or not, to have exptensive dental work done, but have since learned that once it's finished it will add to my quality of life as I reach my 80th year this summer.

Had a failed root canal and a bad infection in my tooth that was coming close to my nasal cavity. Smart Dentistry did an amazing job with the tooth extraction, treating the infection, and the bone graft. The doctors were very caring, always trying to make me feel calm and comfortable. The office is very clean, organized, and professional.

I really like Dr. Sand! She is very knowledgeable and I am excited to have dental cavitation done by her. I have suffered from chronic sinusitis and inflammation for years. I had never heard of this procedure. I basically have infected tissue in the cavities where my wisdom teeth were (many decades ago) that never healed properly. I would like to give 5 stars, but my dental assistant didn’t seem to know what he was doing. He cleaned my daughters teeth with a pumace mixture and I had to tell him to use a suction device for her. There was no flossing of her teeth either. He seemed very unsure of what he was doing. It was my first time there, so maybe a holistic dentist just does things very differently than a conventional one.

So far my kids (6 and 10) and myself have all been seen by dr. Sand for various procedures. Having a dentist who believes in a wholistic lifestyle is very important to me and so far dr. Sand has exceeded my expectations in this wholistic approach to health. My oldest has had dental issues for years now and she took the time to care for him with great bedside manner as well as great information on healing. My youngest is typically very nervous around strangers but he warmed up to the whole staff showing bravery and confidence which says a lot about the staff. I highly recommend smart dentistry !

We started with Smart Dentistry and Dr. Sand when my daughter was 5 and have been going ever since (she’s now 10) , plus 2 more kiddos and I have to say we have found our forever dentist. She is considerate and loves her patients and that comes through her work. My kids are nervous but she helps them though the nerves. The staff is efficient and knowledgeable. We’re grateful for them!

Dr. sand is a very amazing knowledgeable doctor. She was able to determine what was wrong with my old root canal and now has a healing plan for me! I had a root canal done several years ago and there is a lingering infection in my sinuses. Causing all kinds of issues. My father had the same problem and he ignored the pain and ended up having three different brain surgeries and almost died. I am glad I went into see Dr. Sand before this happened to me. The sinuses are connected to the brain. Please take care of your teeth.

I don't like going to dentists at all but Dr Sand made my experience comfortable and professionally handled. I recommend her if you are looking for a new dentist or maybe just unhappy with your current one.

Well firstly I never write reviews, not even for Amazon products so this must have been a good experience. Having spoken to a couple of people Dr Sands and her practice Smart Dentistry was recommended, I had some bad experiences in the past with Dentists so I was very apprehensive, fear not from the moment I took the courage to call their office for an appointment it was so smooth. The receptionist was clear and concise  with her instructions and when I arrived it was all like clockwork, the staff all seem happy which isn’t always the case and when I got to meet Dr Sands she was just what I needed, she took the time to explain to me what she recommended, how she would do the procedure and even when she could schedule me in. I had the operation (root canal extraction) completed a few days later and the whole experience went as smoothly as can be. Thank you Dr Sands

This was a great experience! I have gingivitis, and have been looking for a serious dentist for a while. Someone recommended Dr Sand so I thought to give it a try. The entire staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable the minute I walked in. The price I paid was very reasonable, less than others I visited in the past, and got some great advice on things I can do at home for my gums. I recommend this place and will be back.

When looking for a holistic dentist you must check dr Sand, she is just amazing. I have never been to such a kind and caring dentist before. I am extremely anxious about going to the dentist and she has put me at ease from the first minute she walked into the door. I was told I needed two root canals and she said my teeth were still good. I am just so happy with the service I received.

Dr. Sand’s office was recommended to me by a coworker and exceeded my expectations! I experience a lot of anxiety around dental visits and am always challenged to find just the right dentist that I trust and who puts me at ease. From the beginning, Andrew, the receptionist, answered all of my questions and prepared me for my visit with a kind and friendly email exchange. So far I’ve had several appointments, but the main things I’ve been helped with have been mercury toxicity and a root canal. I was warmly welcomed which continued throughout my visit with the different staff members. It was a professional and clean environment, and one where the patients are made to feel comfortable. In previous experiences with other dentists, I always felt as if I was pushed into unnecessary treatments but with Dr. Sand, this was not the case at all! Finally a dentist who is not only technically extremely skilled, but one who does not use anything toxic. In the past, my dentist would routinely recommend fluoride, which is known to make tooth enamel brittle over time! With Dr. Sand I feel that she truly has a vested interest in my health and would never use any potentially toxic chemicals in my mouth. Previously, I experienced life altering symptoms from mercury toxicity due to my amalgams being disturbed with no safety measures in place a few years ago. I finally decided to get the rest of them SAFELY removed. It’s a big process and I wanted to make sure my dentist would be someone I trust. I’m so glad I made the decision to go to Smart Dentistry, Dr. Sand and Andrew have been SO amazing! The protocol to protect me from more exposure is one thing, but the care and concern that goes with it has been wonderful. Following this experience I KNEW I had to go back so I went to get a dental cleaning and Dr. Sand helped me with some more complex issues such as removing an old (and toxic) root canal. Referred a friend here and I’m sad to hear that she was treated very poorly. She was overcharged and she did not get what she paid for. This dentist also is a “holistic” dentist but does the same procedures so far that I’ve seen from most other dentists. I would not recommend this dentist at all and sad that I sent someone there.

DO NOT use this facility if you are a new patient. Exam 200 They will charge you for a scan that you will never get 340.00 Cleaning 800 Plus she uses a very clunky “laser” to try to do fillings (it is very heavy metal in clinks around on your teeth) Rip off artists. Avoid at all costs!

Excellent Care and Follow-up. Dr Sand and her staff made me feel comfortable and confident about my procedure.

The only place for biological dentistry to go in central Florida bar none. Unbeknownst to many, teeth are a major contributor source of systemic illness. The relationship between teeth health and body health is of paramount importance. This biological dentist knows what she is doing!
