Gentle Dental Aiea/Pearlridge

I love this place! Today I was very pleased with Kelli, the dental hygienist, who worked on me. She was very thorough and very pleasant and fun to talk to! I also want to say I really enjoy having Alberta at the front desk, working there. She is terrific at her job as well! Way to go, Gentle Dental!!

Dental service was okay, but billing always messed up. After 8 years, leaving. I always wondered about people who prematurely received a bill and paid it when the insurance really covered it.

My wife is a patient of gentle dental in Mililani she had some very bad dental work done and is due a refund of approximately $800 this is been going on for the last 2 And a half months I just spoke with Irma Aiea and she argued with me I explained that I was done dealing with people at the local office and she still refuse me to give me the phone number to the corporate office this is not good customer service okay my wife will be looking for another dentist

I called on very short notice (Friday or Saturday), but they were able to get me in on Tuesday for an exam, and scheduled me two days later for my wisdom tooth removal. The procedure was extremely quick and painless, not even 10 minutes! The staff are so friendly and helpful - I'm so glad my coworker recommended them.

Gentle Dental Aiea/Pearlridge has been my dentist of choice for the past 18+ years. I initially chose them because their days & hours accommodated a work schedule. Through the years, Gentle Dental has taken good care of my dental needs. So much so that I actually purchased their dental plan upon retirement! Good also to know that Gentle Dental is also in other US States so that I am covered not only in Hawaii!

Very professional Doctors and staff. The called me Tuesday, then squeezed me in to get work done that same day. Work was done very well by experienced hands.

Gentle Dental in Aiea is the BEST!! I’m one of those who was afraid of dentists! I hadn’t been to a dentist in years and was referred to Gentle Dental by 1-800-dentist. I am so happy I was! They made me feel like family the minute I walked in the door. Brandy the office manager was so knowledgeable and helpful with my insurance and paperwork. Everyone on the staff was friendly and professional. I have never been to a more Gentle, thorough, professional and pretty dentist as Dr. Bustamante. She was awesome! She put all my phobias to rest! I’m not afraid of the dentist anymore! I WILL recommend “Gentle Dental” to anyone and everyone I know that is looking for exceptional dental care!

This was my first visit to the Aiea Gentle Dental office and they were all very nice. The facility is really clean and practices very good sanitary standards. My exam and overall experience cleaning was very professional. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone, friends and my family!!

Our family was on vacation and my son was having a lot of pain, and they were able to get us in on short notice. Our visit was quick and he was very comfortable while his tooth was extracted. We would be regulars if we lived here. Thank you for great service!!

The staff are great but, after every visit, my gums hurt from 2 to 3 days, the hygienist would stab my gums when measuring my gum line. I make some facial expressions and burying my head into the chair. The measurements changes from the last visit. On one of the visits the hygienist stabbed my gum so hard, he said oh, didn't ask if I was okay and documented the measurement as a 9. Once in awhile a different hygienist measure my gums and I did not have any pain in my gums. The doctor and hygienist recommend that I use a water pick, a medium to hard bristle tooth brush. I always receive a soft bristle tooth brush from the hygienist. That was about a few years ago and I'm glad I moved to a new dentist and no pain after every visit, been receiving a medium bristle tooth brush and they recommended more tools including the water pick to keep my gums and teeth healthy.

Very nice place with super nice people, but check your own insurance to verify procedures are covered or you might get a surprise.

Best dental experience in many, many years! Every staff member is friendly and professional. Excellent care of my teeth from x-rays to cleaning to exam. Especially appreciate that Dr. Kumar did not try to push me to have expensive cosmetic work done. Can't say enough good things about Gentle Dental!

Amazing customer service

I saw Dr. Gilbert Ng for a new-patient exam. He was gentle and narrated what he was about to do. Once he noticed I'm a nerd and want in-depth info about everything, he explained all his findings and advice in such helpful depth! Excited to be a patient here.

Nice staff and dentists. I went in with a toothache and had the root canal right there on the spot. They offer their own discount plan which paid for itself immediately. That is great for someone like me without dental insurance. They also offer CareCredit payment plans. It looks like my family and I have found our dentist.
