Kauai Dental Care - Dr. Alan Ing & Dr. Yunsang Park

I am lucky enough to have been a patient of Dr. Ing for many years, and have continually appreciated his skill, thoughtfulness, and the excellent teamwork of his staff. A few years ago, he gave me honest and straightforward advice regarding the possible impacts of some radiation treatment I was considering, more so than any oncologist I had talked to. In dealing with COVID, they have created effective, efficient and pleasant ways to keep staff and patients safe. This is a truly professional operation and with a heart! My mouth has never been healthier.

A few days ago one of my front upper veneers came off. My dentist had glued it back on only a month before. I had asked the office person at my dental office several times if they could participate in my secondary insurance but they basically told me it was too much work. This made anything other than a basic cleaning very expensive. I'm not big on change but I started looking for a dentist that participated with my insurance and also had great reviews. I called Kauai Dental Care and Shania answered the phone. She asked me a few questions and then asked if I could come in at 4pm. I was shocked! They have a well greased, professional dental office with a kind and very proficient staff. Dr. Park was fast, professional and did a great job. It's very obvious he knows what he is doing. Needless to say, I've finally found my dental office. Thank you Kauai Dental Care!

The first fellow, Eric?, has written my first lines. Haven't gotten to the 'plan' part quite yet Part 2-- Great plan. Dr. Ing, my wife, and i spent a great amount of time learning different options. I had a dental appointment yesterday 02/21/2023 at 7:30am and it’s cleaning with the new hygienist it was good but she can do better. You can tell that she’s new because she’s not familiar with the equipments. She seems like scared with what she’s doing. “ Team work makes your dreams work “

Very well run and avant- garde dental techniques used. No guessing what’s going on there in you teeth ! Equipment Top of the line . No pressure to do any one treatment techniques but education regarding what is possible , what the costs are and what results could result. Hygienists are very efficient , good technique , good education and very careful and respectful. Screening before you enter the office, shields in place for office transactions, air handling equipment installed. Very neat , clean and preventative techniques employed. Lovely , serene and comfortable environment. Dr Park is very clear and supportive re: your situation. Front desk is educated informed regarding costs and insurance . Gives good options for you to choose and no pressure .

When I broke a tooth, the staff was able to find an appointment for me the same day. Dr Park examined my tooth and explained my options. He used pictures of my tooth and information from the internet to be sure I understood the options to fix it. I appreciate the time he took. The staff is kind, patient, and efficient. I highly recommend Kauai Dental Care!

I really appreciate Dr. Ing and the great staff of professionals at the Kauai Dental Clinic. Finding good dental care on our small island is not easy. After 10 years and four other dentists disappointments, I finally found a dental home.
