5 stars isn't enough.. Dentist Dan Ackerman was phenomenal because he went above and beyond to make sure I left his office able to smile. My front tooth that was a crown over a root canal broke. All the labs were booked out for a couple of days due to the weekend, etc. So he made a tooth and had a plan to ensure I wouldn't leave without a front tooth. I still have to come back and get the real tooth. I guess both he and his Dad are dentists, and his dad has been there for nearly 30 years. The receptionist was very friendly and that was the same for everyone who helped me. I found my favorite dentist by going through Google. They have a perfect 5 STAR RATING SO THATS WHY I CHOSE THEM.

My wife and I are new to the Boise area. Ackerman family dentistry was recommended to us from a colleague. We couldn’t be happier with the care we received from Dr Dan and staff. Scheduling was easy, all of the staff are very friendly and we received thorough, well explained and professional care.

My entire family, I'm talking children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all go to Dr. Ackerman. Now that my kids are old enough for dental care, the often see Dr. Daniel. We love this place! I can't imagine going anywhere else for dental care!

I’ve been going to Ackerman Family Dentistry for 24 years now. Dr. Bob and Dr. Dan are both very talented and highly skilled, but also mindful and thoughtful. You always know you are getting first class care and every concern you have will be given the utmost of care. All the staff are gentle and caring, with the best hygienists in the field! I recently chipped two of my front teeth, and the repair done today is flawless! This is a place where you feel like family, and know you will be treated as such. This really is family dentistry at it's best! Our family has been seeing doctor Ackerman for over 30 years now. He's taken care of 3 generations with the expertise and care of someone who really listens. Ackerman Family Dentistry always takes care of my needs. My teeth are super sensitive. Docs and Staff make sure that I am comfortable and ok during my procedures. Dr. Dan Ackerman knocked it put of the park by connecting with our 12-year-old while she made a routine visit. She went in very nervous and he made the experience fun and enjoyable for her by asking just the right questions and listening. We usually see Dr. Robert Ackerman (he’s fantastic!) but the 12-year old is now Dr. Dan’s newest fan.

Dr. Ackerman has been my dentist for many years now. Whenever I’ve needed more than a cleaning (filling, crown etc.) he has done a superb job of giving the care I needed. What really sets him apart is the time he takes to explain what he is doing and why. That satisfies my curious nature and is the added touch that puts him well into the five star category.
