We love Dr. Smith. Both my two children and I go to him. He handles them so well that they don't even realize they are getting shots with their fillings. Also he and his office staff are always on time which I really appreciate with my busy schedule.

Routine cleanings were great, gentle and thorough. However, I would NEVER recommend getting your wisdom teeth pulled here. I had my 2 upper wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Smith that resulted in chronic sinusitis. I realize this is a risk you take in getting your upper wisdom teeth pulled, though I don’t think it was handled correctly. If Dr Smith had realized it was going to be difficult to pull, I should have been sent to a surgeon, not a general dentist. Nothing was said, so out came my wisdom teeth. 5 days post, I noticed a strange smell/taste in my mouth that wouldn’t go away. I called Dr Smith and he prescribed me an anti biotic. 2 weeks later I called again bc symptoms weren’t getting better. He had me come in so he could take a look. No x-ray, just had me open my mouth and took a mirror to the extraction site. He didn’t say much other than prescribed me 2 other antibiotics. I called him after I had finished those and he told me if I still didn’t feel better to call back in 10 days. I was tired of waiting with zero answers...After being in so much pain I finally referred myself to an ear, nose and throat doctor(Dr Killian) killian got me in for a CT scan that day and all 3 of my sinus cavities (on one side) were completely blocked- and a new diagnosis of chronic sinusitis. My only choices to help with the pain were steroids or surgery. I had my CT scan sent directly to Dr Smith to show him why I was feeling/and in SO much pain the past weeks. He called me back and wanted me to come in. I almost broke down in tears bc of the frustration, pain, runaround, and medical bills I was now dealing with all while also training for a marathon and getting ready for my wedding. I asked Dr Smith if there was anyway I could be reimbursed or helped and he told me no, but he would give me a free x ray to give to my sinus Dr. really!?! I was shocked. This was 1.5 years ago and I am still in pain daily. (Hence, chronic) I’m an avid runner and it constantly bothers me. I’m not askin
