It’s always a good visit. I appreciate the expertise of the staff and how friendly everyone is as well.

Dr. Jacobsen took time out of his holiday weekend to fix a tooth that was killing me! Even in this time where businesses are short staffed he took the time to come in on a Saturday. He didn’t have to do that and could’ve told me I had to wait till Monday. I was very pleased with how he went about taking out my tooth! Thank you again!!

The team here has stuck it out with my angry tooth. After so many failed attempts with other dentists I finally have someone in my corner. They have been patient, understanding, and always have done their best. Will be a client for life!

Bottom line, Do Not Go here ever. You will regret it. We paid over $7000 dollars for my wife's implants. Only to have them fail and have her be completely miserable and in pain. We constantly requested Jacobson to review them but he refused in his arrogance. After several months of getting no where we eventually had to go to a different dentist to have them removed. Only to find the implants were a complete failure with infection. The infection could have been prevented had Jacobson took the time to address this properly. To further show the unprofessionalism of this office nearly their entire office staff walked out on them because of Jacobson being so difficult to work with. He treats his patients terribly. I repeat. Do Not Go here. We tried repeated to discuss this with them only to be met with silence and no return phone calls.

I went in about 2 years ago to ask about natural options. I scheduled an appointment with Dr Davis, and I went in to have an old amalgam filling taken out and replaced with a composit filling. I was told of how toxic amalgam filling were and the health benefits to having it replaced. I had the amalgam filling for over 20 years with no issues. After it was refilled at this office, I started experiencing sensitivity and pain. I went in, and I told that my bite was off so they adjusted it. Still after the appointment, I was feeling pain and sensitivity, so I went back and again the doctor said it needed to be adjusted. I went in about a half dozen times and then he told me I had an infected tooth next to it that was causing the pain so I quit going back. Fast forward to 2021 and I get the infected tooth removed by another dentist as an emergency. After the extraction, I still feel the same pain from the past 2 years. I go in to have it examined by the dentist office that did the extraction, and the oral surgeon tells me that the tooth behind it (the amalgam replaced tooth)is cracked and it will need to be replaced. He tells me that whomever took out the original amalgam should have never touched that tooth because amalgam is a different material and its known to cause issues to remove them. He said that its common for them to crack with a different material. I call Dr Davis office again and they schedule me for an appointment. I work 50+ hour a week, and I had to ask for time off to go to this appointment. When I get there, I was told Dr Davis went home sick an hour before my appointment, and he had a new dentist examine me. This dentist tells me the tooth needs to be adjusted again. I told him its been adjusted so many times that my tooth no longer resembles a tooth and I don't want any more adjustments. He then tells me my only option is to have the tooth pulled or root canal. I told him neither of those options are acceptable and left there in tears. I explained

Some older postings are quite biased with entitled people, but the energy here is great! They give an incredible service that's more involved than regular dentists. Basically everyone I know doesn't like going to dentist appointments but this new group does so good and shows that they care from the moment you walk in. They're helpful in understanding any issue and explain the solutions. They're on point as much as possible and work hard to help with insurance billing.

For a natural dentistry, this office’s overall attitude is quite toxic - particularly one of the front desk persons and the doctor’s assistant but others as well. There is heavy resentment looming from one person to the next and it carries over in how they speak to patients - a distinct lack of courtesy and respect; an irritation that is palpable. They were unorganized and it felt chaotic. As such, the consultation itself was not smooth; felt rushed; and certain data was not assessed. The atmosphere was unusually noisy and it didn’t help that the chatter of a radio station was playing overhead. I felt uncomfortable the moment I walked in and considered leaving before the consult began. Based on this experience, I can’t say as I would entrust something so important and costly as cosmetic dentistry to this office. Update/Response: I was given 30 minutes for $111. Not 90 minutes. If this is West Valley Natural Dentistry in Boise on Fairview then this is the same place. No, I am not a prior employee. My appointment was very recent (a one-day turnaround to get on the schedule) and the description of my experience is, unfortunately, quite accurate.

The dentist & hygienist were fine. The lady working the front desk is not doing her job & doesn't seem to care. I had to call my insurance while in their office to handle the claim. I had to direct the front lady on how to do her job. She hardly tried. Now a month later she is saying we have to pay $600. Full price for teeth cleaning. Also when I left she didn't schedule me to fix a couple cavities the dentist found. Also my wife had scheduled an appointment months in advance and when she showed up for her appointment it was canceled. The lady at the front desk couldn't care less about their mistake. The dentistry seemed fine but the administration there is a joke & unprofessional.

I went here hoping to find a more natural and conservative approach dentist. It was very disappointing they tried pushing unnecessary fillings and extractions. A second opinion is advised

Wonderful dental office. The staff is super friendly, the hygienist is thorough and dentist is knowledgeable and funny! Our friend referred my family there a year ago and we have been totally satisfied. Love this place!

Amazing work, always consistent, I love my Hygienist Erlinda, she is without a doubt why I come back. There are a lot of places to go but when I go here, sometimes I think Erlinda loves and cares for my teeth more than I do! Amazing team and I never not look forward to dropping in for my cleanings. My friends think I’m crazy for loving the dentist, but the people here make the difference, especially when you know they are invested in YOUR health. I recommend all my friends to ask for Erlinda!

Wanted to love them because they take a more natural approach to dentistry. Staff was friendly but the office is very cramped & everything took much longer than expected. Communication is very bad with this office. My daughter was seen at this office for the first time and the dentist didn't go over her exam or cleaning with me. My guess is because they were busy & there was a lot going on. I was a bit overwhelmed myself. When I left the office I called back to get more of an explanation on my daughter's teeth because she had issues prior and we were new to this office. In kept playing office tag and it just seemed a bit difficult so switched her. I figured I'd stay with them and give them a try but continued to receive poor communication on procedures they were doing and costs. I felt that this place was more after your wallet them your best interest.

Erlinda at West Valley Natural Dentistry is amazing — kind, quick, and thorough. She is very thoughtful and makes the overall experience painless. Would highly recommend Dr. Davis and his team.

I have receding gums and have dealt with gingivitis for years but ever since going to West Valley I have received the best advice for how to improve my oral health. Erlinda (hygienist) has educated me on how to take care of my teeth and gums like no other dental hygienist has. I finally have nice pink gums instead of sore red gums like in the past! Dr. Jacobsen and Dr. Davis are up-to-date on the latest technology and innovations in this field , while also very attentive to my wimpy self when it comes to dental procedures.

Erlinda is the absolute best. I don’t love going to the dentist but when you find someone who treats you with respect, and cares 110% about what she is doing it makes it much easier. Dr. Jacobsen does a great job explaining policies and procedures as well.

They asked me if the dentist did any impressions. I said, “No. But he told a lot of jokes.” Excellent dentist. Re-explained many dental mysteries to me in a way that made sense. His sense of humor put me at ease and gave him energy for solving problems in new ways, and created a nurturing environment for support staff. Everyone was kind and fun and flexible. Pricing was fantastic.

Erlinda and Dr. Jacobsen provide comprehensive, transparent, and compationate care. Erlinda takes time to explain the "why" behind my periodantal problems using diagrams and all! She is very patient with all my questions, listens, and provides clear, concise descriptions. Dr. Jacobsen also is transparent, calm, and I never feel rushed by him. He listens well, makes sure all of my questions are answered, and shows me everything! I couldn't ask for better care. I am so pleased to have found them!

I couldn't be happier with Dr. Jacobsen and Roxie today. Seriously so informative, gentle, thorough and helpful. I was told i needed a crown by another dentist and today they said he couldn't in his right mind do a crown and it wasn't necessary. I have another appointment for a cleaning and a couple fillings next week and honestly all of my anxiety is gone ... im actually excited to go back. Super funny, calming staff helps make everything enjoyable!
