The front desk ladies and staff are so friendly and sweet! Every time I come in it feels like I’m with family! Dr. Nielson is such a sweet heart and takes the time to explain to me exactly what needs to be fixed and how he’s going to do it! I always get so nervous when going to the dentist but between all the smiles, patience with my anxiety, and friendly banter, I’ve made My Dentist: my dentist. This dentist is very friendly but they chip my teeth wait till the filling is falling off to get started on it, they blame there customers for “no call no shows” and then to proceed and say they sent a text to you to “confirm” your appointment but I never got a confirmation, they proceed to tell me they do remind people when I was told the last time that I called they can call and remind me a day before my appointment to let me know and to see if I was coming in, again never got anything but ended up blaming my side of the story, unfortunately they let me go from the company but I would prefer looking for something else where you feel protected

If you value honesty, listening, and having your dentist do his job, don't go here. I broke my tooth while on a trip and went in to have a temporary fix done until I could get to my home dentist. Dr. Nielsen refused to see me until I had x-rays taken, and then he told me I needed a root canal for an abcess above my tooth (which was not on my x-ray or on the x-rays my regular dentist had taken just a few weeks before) but agreed to do a temporary fix until I could get home. The fix he did was not the temporary fix my home dentist and I had asked him to do - it was a full-fledged remake of my tooth. When I got home and looked in the mirror, both corners of my new tooth were chipped and cracked, and the back was jagged, cutting my tongue. A piece of the bonding broke off the next day. I called and asked for it to be fixed again. They agreed to fix it for no cost because the problems were his fault. He fixed the jagged edge, but would not fix the crack because "it was just part of how it was made". The remade tooth itself should have costed me $100-200; he charged me $400. My "free" fix the second time I went in? Over $200 for "post-operative procedures". Ultimately, I should have just waited and gone somewhere else, especially since I have to have the crack fixed and therefore have to have the entire tooth redone. This tooth that should have cost me $300 or so will be costing me $1,000 thanks to Dr. Nielsen and My Dentist of Idaho.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. Any doctor’s office really is not an enjoyable experience for me. However, everyone was so kind, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and understanding here! Absolutely THE best Dentist and overall dental service experience I have enjoyed in my 56 years of going to the Dentist. Incredibly competent Dentist with a great "bedside manner" - always willing to clearly communicate all treatment, and answer all questions clearly. The technical and administrative staff members are highly competent, pleasant, and professional. I recommend Dr. Nielsen over any one of the 7 other dentists in my lifetime!

My Dentist is the worst Dentist I have EVER been to!!!! I didn't have Dental Insurance at the time so they put me on a payment plan, they charged me interest for every visit...I missed a couple payments and they reported me to collections where they are charging 12% interest after they already reported me to collections..Before I was reported to collections I was in excruciating pain and only wanted antibiotics and they wanted 187.00$ up front just to prescribe me antibiotics....In all my years I have never had anyone charge me interest after being reported to collections..They are scam artists......

Friendly staff, generously accommodated my busy work/school schedule. I've had several cavities filled and a root canal. Any issues I had (which were very minimal) were addressed promptly. Dr. Neilson and staff are patient, gentle, knowledgeable, and very courteous. Having a tv to watch and nitrous while receiving treatment is an added bonus. I'd recommend to anybody. :)

I had such a wonderful experience there. The Doctor was kind and attentive to my special needs. He made accomidations and asked several times if I was comfortable.
