Comfort Care Dental - Rexburg

I have so much anxiety going to the dentist. I had put off going to the dentist for YEARS because I was too scared to even make an appointment. But when my mouth started hurting from a few teeth I decided to try out Comfort Care Dental. Oh my goodness, what an amazing experience! What I liked and appreciated the most was that they offered laughing gas and local anesthesia at no extra cost. This made the visit so much easier for me and I was actually able to relax!

I love Comfort Care Dental! Dr. Hacking is honest and takes time to explain the options. When I took my son to a different dentist, the doctor didn’t even look at me or talk to me. He just made his assistant make an appointment. I was doubtful, so I came to Dr. Hacking for a second opinion. He could do the same procedure for less than half the price, but he explained that my son didn’t need that procedure. It’s a good sign when Dr. Hacking says, “If he were my son, I wouldn’t make him go through this.” The whole office is pleasant, and the staff seem happy. The office manager, Janae, is a kind and generous lady too. I highly recommend Comfort Care. They will take a good care of you!

It is true that the staff here are very friendly. I have been here several times now. I’ve had about 4 original appointments over about the last 2 years, but had to return several times because of complications with the work that had been done. Even though the staff is great, here are the reason I will not be returning: 1. I got some cavities filled. My gums where they filled the cavities were swelling up the next few days. After taking an ibuprofen for the swelling to go down, I found THEY HAD LEFT A WOODEN WEDGE IN MY GUMS. It had been sitting there for days and was very painful. I thought it was one mistake so I went back. 2. Unfortunately I had some more cavities and I got them filled. The next few weeks I couldn’t eat on that side of my mouth because of pain. Turns out they didn’t do the fillings right and they needed to be redone. But you know stuff happens. 3. Both of the teeth cleanings I had done there were very painful. And I thought I was just being dramatic or not remembering that teeth cleanings were actually painful, even though they said my teeth looked pretty clean. My gums hurt for the rest of the day. Well then my husband went to get his teeth cleaned there. And he said that was the most painful teeth cleaning he has ever gotten. Anyways, that was the last straw that confirmed it for me. Both of my teeth cleanings, and my husband’s one teeth cleaning, were painful and harsh on the gums. And so we are going to find somewhere else. In conclusion: This is not a bad place to go, but I do believe there are better dentists out there. If I was a child, this place would make me hate the dentist because it hurts.

I’m a new patient and definitely be going back again. Very professional and the team was super supportive and made sure my issues are taken care of. I do not have a single thing to complain about this place! Thank you!

I became a new patient here and felt so welcomed! Everyone was so kind and made me feel comfortable the whole time while constantly asking me if I was okay throughout my procedure. They are so awesome here and I would recommend anyone for their dental needs!

The staff was quite friendly. The doctor and hygienist did well to explain to me what is going on, but I feel like they could have done more. The cleaning was thorough. It's a well kept denstry!

We have been going to see Dr. Hacking as a family for years he has a fantastic dentist and we absolutely love going there. He cares about how comfortable you are, and goes out of his way not to hurt you.

Great team. Everyone was very nice and professional. I appreciated the time they took to explain what they were doing and to answer all my questions.

I came to my apartment a couple minutes early and they got me right in for my appointment. The people are very nice and easy to talk too.

I had a toothache and they were able to see me the same day I called! It was my first time as well! Dr Bateman was awesome! Katie assisted him and she was so sweet & friendly. They both took care of my needs and now I'm able to sleep at night! :)

I have had issues with previous dentists, so it takes a lot for me to actually go. Today I went in in to get some fillings, I was in and out within 20 minutes! Super fast and friendly staff! It really feels like they care about you when you go here and you’re not just another patient.

Can't remember name of gal that cleaned my teeth but she was very thorough, has passion for the job and did excellent work. Doc was knowledgeable and pricing was fair. Overall great experience.

I had a lovely visit here! It was my first time, everyone in the staff was kind and personable. The doctor was really good at communicating with me what my options were and explaining how things work. He took care of my tooth problems quickly and I had fast recovery! I found that the staff work well together as a team and are doing a great job at making sure we as patients know how to take care of our teeth and get the help we need as we come. 10/10 will come again :)

I went to Comfort Care Dental for a cleaning and was thoroughly impressed by my experience! Jerrica was efficient, thorough, and pleasant to talk to. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning!

I generally dislike going to the dentist as it makes me uncomfortable. However, I had some severe tooth pain and went here to figure out what was wrong. They got me in 2 hours after I initially called. They were all super nice and helpful, quickly took X-rays and gave me a diagnosis, took care of reaching out to a specialist, and gave me any prescriptions needed to dull the pain. I would recommend them to anyone. 10/10. Now I like going to the dentist, as long as it’s this place.
