Went for an emergency root canal, I’m 6 months pregnant. While I respect that the dentist went as fast as possible, I didn’t appreciate the attitude he gave me upon payment. Or the fact that I paid 85 dollars more than what I was quoted. Hopefully no complications come up from this. Edit: I can’t floss between where the operation took place.

If you are looking for a "wanna-be butcher" turned DDS or if you are interested in having your own "nightmare root canal" story to tell, then Dr. Oler is your man. My son had a root canal with Dr. Oler, no sooner had he set down the syringe from injecting the numbing medication he started drilling. My son was immediately in major pain but tried to take it. He had tears streaming down his face the pain was so intense. He finally reached a point he was clenching the seat and yelling out to stop. Dr. Oler just commented that he was almost done and proceeded to ignore the request! He obviously has absolutely no care or compassion for his patients, just in it for the $$. Dr. Oler, hopefully, you think about what this kind of thing can do to people and their perception of dentists, you are the reason people dread going in to have their teeth worked on. Shame on you.

We have been to Doctor Oler for two separate occasions now. The wait/secretary staff is rude and condescending. The Doctor is also rude and condescending asking questions after treatment like "well what did you come here for?" after a month of no call back to schedule an appointment for referral. He doesn't tell you what he is doing or gives you a treatment plan of any kind. He just sticks you with a needle without any warning and expects you to deal with it and get it over with. He doesn't build back on anything just shaving off half a tooth for a root canal and calls it a new tooth. Half a tooth with a filling on top is not a tooth. He gave the same kind of treatment to my child and we will not be going back.
