I have been thoroughly terrified of the dentist since I was kid. Dr. Short is incredible at what he does! Thank you for being a true family dentist for the entire family! I highly recommend him for you and your children! If I had him as my childhood dentist, I might not have the fear I do today! Thank you Dr. Short for providing exceptional service!

1st time patient. They were all nice and pleasant, but I made an appt for a cleaning and didn't even get one!! I've been to a slew of dentists in my life due to moving and insurance. NEVER not got a cleaning with an initial appt., which is what I requested when I made the appt. Waste of my time.

They failed twice to fix a small chip in my front tooth, I will now have to find a different dentist to pay to do the work they have already charged me for. Staff was polite.

The staff was very professional and courteous. I look forward to getting my permanent tooth replaced and I plan on getting other dental work done in the future.

I have been going to Midwest Dental since November 2022. I went in with a golf ball size abscess on the roof of my mouth, it was horribly painful and quite disturbing to look at, Dr. Delfs walked by and I heard her say I can help her. She came in and explained what she would do. I told her I always get dry sockets and my teeth don't come out easy and in pieces. Well she said she has tricks for dry sockets and she did! I'm not saying it wasn't painful because there's no way it wouldn't be but so far she has pulled all my top teeth and we will start on bottom next week. So far no dry sockets. Dr. Delfs is my hero. The first day Arial assisted and made me feel so comfortable. I can't say I look forward to a visit to the dentist but I'm confident that they will take care of me. I love my care team at Midwest dental in Belvidere! I can't wait till I have teeth and can smile for a picture lil

Dr. Delfs was wonderful to work with, she really knows her stuff and the front desk manager Ariel was awesome too, very nice. I especially liked my assistant Jen. She was so nice to me and she was very pretty. I feel like Ive met her before.

I have had a wonderful experience with Midwest dental. They have helped me with many dental problems and they are very understanding of anxiety problems. I have had a good experience with everyone involved in my care, from the appointments being made to the procedures being done, the care explaining every step of the way I've had. Nothing but a good experience.

I have been going to this practice for over 9 years. In the last 2 years I have had nothing but cancelations for my routine cleanings. I understand staff can and will get sick or injured, however I find it completely unprofessional to consistently have appointments canceled due to not having reliable staffing or prn staff when they know they have an employee that is unable to work. If you have any high standards in having your teeth cleaned on a regular schedule to prevent gum disease and have good oral health/prevention at this time I would find somewhere else to go. At least, until they manage to figure out how to provide care to their current patients consistently. If you don't mind being on a standby call list in case they have a cancelation then this is the place for you, but be sure you answer your phone and have a daily complete open schedule or they will call the next 20 people in line and you will miss out. Midwest Dental currently only has one hygienist functioning in their practice as the other one is injured and she is booked. Last year, when this started Midwest Dental did offer the dentist to complete cleanings and it was the worst 10 minute cleaning I have ever had. Hence why they have dental hygienist. Before Midwest Dental started canceling appointments regularly, the hygienist I had was great. The best I have ever had actually. Just beware now. It's all changed. I do hope the hygienist gets well that is injured and that Midwest Dental does find additional help.

I tried to establish as a new patient. I was patient and understanding waiting months for a first visit. They called night before to cancel 2 visits in a row. Then when I failed to see and return a confirmation, for third attempted first visit, they cancelled my visit and refused to understand or compromise. Unprofessional and unempathetic-not a good combination in the healthcare world.

Everyone in the office was very nice and helpful. The young lady that cleaned my teeth was friendly, professional, thorough and made my experience very pleasant.

Everyone is so wonderful and comforting. I wouldn’t take my family anywhere else!

Called Midwest dental in an emergency, they politely figured out my situation got me in for an X-ray right away to check out my gums. Even got a same day cleaning by Kathy. Needless too say I was satisfied with the humor of the staff, effeteness, cleanliness and the fact that I felt cared for <3. I will be remembering this amazing dentist experience for the rest of my life, cause.. let’s be honest, we all hate the dentist. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone in the Belvedere area! Personal shout out too Jen for reminding me how even the dentist can be a fun filled environment with sass and humor.

I delayed going back to the dentist for a cleaning and general work, but they made me feel very comfortable. My visits have been without incident and actually look forward to my future visit without any trepidation. What a wonderful group!

I was terrified of the dentist after a lifetime of negative experiences. Today I went in for x-rays and consult with Dr. Joe. Everyone was professional, polite and confident they could help. Collectively I have a team of dental professionals and a plan to actually make me smile again.

Every one was so nice and professional. The care they took was awesome.
