I have been a patient of Dr. Smith's for 10+ years. I have had a couple different dentists before him, and he is by far the best dentist out there. His staff are amazing too. I always enjoy going to the dentist. I have NEVER had a bad experience there. I recommend him to everyone!!!

I've been going to Talbot & Smith Family Dental for 27 years, they have been my family's dentist for over 40 years. I've never had any issues or problems with any procedure, cleaning or routine service performed. When my aunt's and father passed away they sent us sympathy cards, how many people receive that kind of thing from their dentist? If you want a dentist for life, go see Dr. Smith.

James, I am truly sorry to hear what you have gone through. But, I can honestly say... That I would not choose another Dentist than Dr. Smith. I have had no issues with Dentistry & I certainly have no pain when I depart the office & some say well after 7-8 hrs of numbness you will start to have pain. I have been Blessed with an awesome Dentist & would not go to anyone else. ~~Again you visit id different from mine... But, I have had, fills, extractions, & root canals & if any of the issues cause pain prior to the visit, I left without pain & all issues resolved. Again sorry to hear your story & Best of Luck with your Dental issues in the future. I'm staying with Dr. Smith.

Stay Away! Never Use this Dentist! Danger! After having had a root canal, preformed by Dr. Smith, I suffered with pain for months. The pain got so bad I had to go back to the dentist. I specifically asked for x-rays to be taken of the tooth. I asked several times. Dr. Smith refused; he refused to take the x-rays. I thought that a bit unusual, bizarre even. More time passed. The pain did not go away, but was ever present. I sought a second opinion from a new dentist. She took x-rays. Major problem found. A second root canal was needed. She sent me to a third dentist who specialized in root canals. The third dentist used a microscope, something which ordinary dentists do not use while performing root canals, and what did she find? “There is something in here?” “Excuse me?” “There is something inside the tooth, looks like a piece of metal, some foreign object.” Three foreign objects were found in my tooth, three. The specialist told me, “They look like dental files broken off on accident.” The second dentist after reading the reports and seeing digital pictures of the evidence, said, “You should sue Dr. Smith.” The third dentist, the specialist, agreed. I phoned Dr. Smith and left a recording. He took two days getting back to me. Getting his story together? Speaking to a lawyer? He told me that what he did was normal and that is how they used to do root canals. Although his method is no longer used, and even he stopped using it, that is how they did it way back when. I do not believe his story. I told the second dentist the story; she did not buy it either saying, “I have never heard of any type of procedure like that.” The third dentist, the specialist, laughed saying, “In fifteen years as a specialist, I have never personally observed such poor dentistry.” At best, Dr. Smith uses out dated techniques, archaic methods, which have gone into disuse.
