I came to Dr. Newkirk after a bad experience at another dentist. I had been considering veneers for a couple of teeth. The first dentist I consulted wanted to do veneers on six teeth instead of the two I had requested--plus they wanted to do crowns as opposed to veneers. I did some research and learned that crowns were not advised as veneers for healthy teeth (as crowns will require far more trimming of the existing tooth than veneers). They also required me to buy an electronic toothbrush and a mouth guard in addition to the cost of the dental work. Spooked by the $12,000 estimate (they added in braces to the estimate as well!!) and the thought of grinding down so many teeth, I searched for alternatives. I had gone to Dr. Newkirk some years back for dental work and decided to consult with him on the veneers. He determined that the work could be done with ONLY two veneers and quickly created temporaries so I could see what the teeth would look like before I committed to anything. The work was seamless, beautiful and done at far FAR less cost than the quote from the original dentist. I was glad I trusted my gut and decided to get a second opinion with an actual cosmetic dentist. It saved me tons of money and helped me keep my teeth intact.

Simply put, exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the friendly and knowledge staff to the expertise of Dr. Newkirk. As a brand new patient, they went above and beyond to accommodate me and replace a crown with little advance notification. No shortcuts here. They take their time in explaining this pain free procedure and ensure you're comfortable with the entire process. Wonderful results! I definitely found a dentist for life and I'm bringing the family with me.

Great Doc, great staff

I have been a patient of Dr Newkirk for over 10 years. I grew up in a dental family and I know what to look for in a dentist and his staff. This office checks all of the boxes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable, safe and respected in the office. Dr Newkirk explains what treatment you need and why you need it. He is conservative in his treatment while being thorough. I have never felt rushed or pressured into treatment. The hygienists are also gentle and very competent. I highly recommend this office.

He has been my dentist for 16 years and always is professional, and knowledgeable. He knows his profession better than any dentist I have known or worked with. He is also a pleasure to talk to and funny. He always puts me at ease.

I came to see Dr. Newkirk on a recommendation when I had some of the worst tooth pain & my original dentist wasn't able to diagnose the cause. Dr. Newkirk was informative and upfront about what was going on and the steps that we needed to take, to address the problem. Since then, I've had multiple procedures done (onlay, crown, filling), and go regularly for check-ups. The staff is so helpful with everything from making sure I've been comfortable while in the chair, to setting up future appointments & working with my insurance. I know they're dentists closer to where I live, but I choose to drive the 40 minutes it takes me, just to see Dr. Newkirk, well worth it!

Professionalism, comfort, ease. These three adjectives describe my experience at Dr. Newkirk's office. From routine cleanings to cavity fills, our service with Dr. Newkirk and his wonderful staff has made our dental care easy to understand and follow. We have have actually had more than 50% fewer cavities following Dr. Newkirk's care. Also, Dr. Newkirk and his staff go above and beyond caring for their patients. When I had a deep cavity several years ago, Dr. Newkirk was worried that it might flare in the near future. I was scheduled to go on an overseas trip. Dr. Newkirk provided me with the name and number of one of his colleagues in London in case I had trouble. That is invaluable service. I recommend Dr. Newkirk and his office to all!!!!

Dr. Newkirk and his staff couldn't be more personable, patient friendly and patient orientated. From appointment setting to making sure you're comfortable throughout the visit, they're main concern is the patient and the patient's needs. This, coupled with their professionalism and knowledge truly make a visit to the dentist's office a "painless" experience.

Incredibly wonderful and caring Dentistry is what you will receive from Dr Newkirk and all his staff. Attention to detail and the best in making sure that clients receive all the care needed is a hallmark of the office. I have been going to Dr Newkirk along with my family for over 10 years. He has fixed everything from bite shifting in my jaw to crowns to inlays and on-lays to prosthetic tooth replacement. He is a wonderful and gifted dentist and is also a top in his field with other dentists seeking him out to learn from them. I very highly recommend him and his staff.

I've been coming to Dr. Newkirk's practice for over 20 years. He always knows the latest in dental technology, but keeps me coming back for his trustworthiness and friendliness. Everyone in the office is super friendly and they've gone out of their way numerous times to accommodate my schedule or my needs. Somehow they've created a family atmosphere in a place of business that most people would never want to go (who really "likes" going to the dentist?!). Nicole and Cari have cleaned my teeth for years, and both are excellent with a soft touch. Most recently, Nicole made me feel so comfortable, my appointment was over before I had a chance to feel anything. You'll be doing yourself a favor if you choose Dr. Newkirk's practice!

I had a history of fear - extreme fear - when going to the dentist. I had had too many incidents of horrible pain, when the anesthetic did not work. I came to Dr. Newkirk knowing that I had to have a lot of work done, and being truly scared to death about it. He assured me that he could and would anesthetize me and it would all be fine. And it was. He did all kinds of work on me. It probably took a year or more of visits. He was true to his word. If you have any kind of fear of dentistry - Dr. David Newkirk is the dentist to go to. I told one of his staff, that if I ever moved away, I would have to come back to him whenever I needed a dentist. She said that others have done that. They fly in from Florida, etc., just to keep coming to him. The other thing that sets him apart from other dentists is that he is brilliant at picking his staff. They are truly wonderful. They talk to you and they care. They check with you all through procedures to make sure you are comfortable. They greet you like a long lost friend and they treat everyone with cheerfulness, gentleness, and kindness.

The Staff here is awesome and very welcoming! Margaret is great and they do everything they can to make you comfortable. I never have to wait past my appointment time and they are always accommodating with my schedule!

Thanks to Dr. Newkirk and his phenomenal support staff, I can “eat, drink and be merry” with confidence once again! I suspect I was a “grinder” for years; and by age 50, the enamel on my two front teeth was so severely worn that they were literally chipping away day by day! Dr. Newkirk and his team are amazing. I have never waited more than five minutes in the waiting room... not sure why they even need one! I had a cracked tooth (bit a tiny piece of bone in a piece of sausage) and they squeezed me in the same day. I ended up needing a crown and you would never tell that work was done.
