My daughter just had her braces taken off come to find out she needed her wisdom teeth pulled, so it was very urgent. She had them removed immediately because it was shifting her teeth. We set the appointment and then two days later they called and rescheduled for 2 1/2 almost 3 months out then a month into it. They called and try to set her appointment all the way out to June which makes it over six months total. We have already found somebody else that is going to do the surgery first time they go in to see him with no extra visit. Thanks Valpo family dentistry. 0 stars

I had a bad experience with one particular dentist/assistant team, however, have since requested another dentist. I have since had great experiences. Dr Vaid was kind amd gentle. Most recently I had Dr Montanez, he too was kind and gentle with a great sense of humor. The hygienists for cleaning have all been great. They have late hours and that is very convenient for someome who works a lot! The office does lack a personalized feel. It is a business with an assembly line of patients. The dentists are constantly on the move room to room and I understand that. I will add that when the dentist is with you, his/her attention is on you, the patient. Overall, I do recommend Valparaiso Family Dentistry.

Not sure what happened to this place, but we won't be returning. My special needs daughter visited the adult practice for a 2nd opinion. We decided to visit here because she had wisdom teeth removed in the past, and figured they were trustworthy. They did a great job. This time, when seen by the adult dentist, she was referred to pediatrics because she has special needs and has a baby tooth. Shes 19. Waited a few weeks to see peds, only to have the dentist refuse to see her due to her age. He suggested we visit the office in Michigan City, which would've been another 2 week wait. The lack of communication was astounding. I refuse to let my daughter be shuffled around, and took her to another business that can properly care for her and not give her the runaround! The receptionist was nice and took care of us the best she could.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and usually don’t have any bad experiences. Sometimes it does take a while to get taken back even with scheduled appointments. Today my dental hygienist did the cleaning really fast almost felt rushed. Overall, it’s not that bad & I will continue to come here, hoping it was just a bad day.
