I was initially not expecting much with a low income clinic, however I've came to them three seperate times with tooth pain and they were miracle workers in getting me in and taking care of my issue quickly. I can't say enough great things about this clinic!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this wasn’t not a good first dentist visit for my 2 year old. This is why kids are afraid to go to the dentist. They didn’t try to explain anything they were doing, they hardly talked to him, and he was screaming the whole time because they just kinda pushed him back in the chair and started brushing his teeth and tapping on his teeth. He loves having mom help him brush his teeth at home. Very Less than impressed. Not to mention housekeeping seemed to not be doing their job properly, it was dirty. Also the toothbrush they gave our child was already opened and looked used/dirty.

Great and friendly team. Explained everything in detail. Very busy place but they run a tight ship.
This place is NOT nearly as helpful as they claim to be. I went in with a broken molar and in severe pain (dental emergency). They took an xray and looked at the tooth and told me they would pull it….and that it was a perfectly fine tooth that could be saved with a root canal…but they wanted to pull it. Why? I refused three times and they finally gave me a referral to another dentist for the root canal. Unfortunately they could not see me for two whole months. They told me to take 1000mg of Tylenol and 600mg of ibuprofen every six hours. They would not put in a temporary filling to ease the pain even though they confirmed my nerves were exposed and treated me like I was pill seeking!!! I never once asked for any type of prescription, only a temp filling and everyone knows a person should not be taking that much otc pain relief twice a day for two months! Absolutely ridiculous, the whole visit!!! They just want to pull your teeth out and treat you like you’re lesser somehow! Now I have to call another dentist to get a temporary filling so I dont have to wait two months in agony and most likely end up with an infection!!

Who can I speak to about a dentist here at this facility cracking my tooth during an unnecessary filling? Looking to make things right, I shouldn’t be financially responsible for a crown, nor should my insurance. I’ve had nearly a year of issues. came in with no pain, left needing root canal and crown. Risks and benefits of filling never discussed. 4-5 Months of adjusting the filling and opposing tooth, coming in every week/every other week to find out the pain was because its a cracked tooth and now my teeth have been permanently altered for no reason.. also I came in due to “tooth cup” on my lingual cusp tooth 14, not even a cavity… and never any pain, had it for as long as I can remember, a perfectly healthy tooth. Next day I go to eat and have shocking pain. by as much as we’ve drilled on my tooth it could have been sanded down. Why a filling was chosen I’ll regretfully never know.. My filling was adjusted to the point my teeth don’t touch, it’s altered my bite, teeth 15 and 18 which barely used to touch now hit heavily, recently chipped the tip of #6… not sure if this is due to my bite being off but would love to come in and speak with someone about a zirconia crown.

Had a badly infection and rotten tooth needing to be pulled. I have a resistance to the numbing shot. The doctor was very friendly and sympathetic. Was able to get my mouth numb enough to extract the tooth without much pain. (About 0.5 out of 10 pain wise.) Made me feel cared for.

I came here with a tooth I've been needing pulled for almost 2 years but I was too scared to do it, I finally mustered up the courage and did a walk-in appointment (7:45am and 12:45 are there walk-in hours!)
Right when I arrived the receptionist was so kind to me and that helped ease a little of my anxiety, they told me they may not be able to get the extraction the day of which I was fine with but I really wanted it done so I didn't have to worry about it anymore, when I got back into the room my nurse took some x-rays and asked me if I wanted the extraction done right then- HECK yes!!!! They got me super super numb and got the tooth out so quick. My doctor was so so incredible, she kept distracting me and telling me how brave I was and complimenting me, they sent me home with plenty of meds and gauze and I am no longer as afraid of the dentist after having such a positive experience! I would highly highly recommend, they seem to truly care about there patients and the walkin time is so fast!
I was literally shaking the chairs from anxiety and they reassured me I was no burden to them, such a fantastic experience, thank you guys again! I can finally sleep at night without this constant worry!!!

Such a great dental clinic, I have never seen since I arrived to cedar rapids, the doctors, Nurse Practitioners and all staff are amazing.
They are all very professional and and friendly especially Dr. Diana Jones, Dr. Saur ( 🥳🦷), Dr Stead, Courtney, Jill.
They always take time to listen to take appropriate action on the symptoms. As much as I talk about them is less, they deserve more.
Wish you all the best, long life and bright future

Would highly NOT recommend using them if you're looking for a reliable dentist that knows what their doing or who uses quality materials other than plastic for caps and fillings that will erode a few months after use. Had a dentist drill several holes in my teeth as well as trying to saw the gap in my two front teeth and than try to fill it because they thought they made a mistake. And I'm now having to have 5 teeth extracted by a specialist due to the damage this facility has caused!!!

I’m 42 years old I’ve been to a lot of dentists in my lifetime and this one tops them all this far. Super awesome thank you to Chris (dental hygienist) at the Eastern Iowa dental center on the southern east side of Cedar Rapids, my smile looks so great, thank you 🤩, you always give great advice and I’m not sure how you guys do it but I always feel 100% comfortable Interacting with you🙏🏾. I’d also like to say thanks to Candace, I think she works the front desk. Candace’s customer service skills are superb, she’s always polite, her pronunciation and overall speaking skills are great🤩. I called Tuesday bc I had horrible pain and stiffness in my neck from a broken tooth I’ve had for awhile and wanted it taken out. They wanted me to come in that evening but I wasn’t able to get there until Wednesday. They told me to arrive at 7:45am and they’d fit me in. I was seen no later than 8:30am. All of the staff was polite. Dr Jones is AMAZING! She took her time and made sure I wasn’t in any pain. I felt cared about. I got to listen to my music as well as talk to her and her helper. I’ve had horrible experiences with previous dentist but I would 101% recommended!

Dr Jones is a phenomenal Dentist always making you feel at ease about what she is doing at all times. Will explain what she is doing or what needs to be done. I have been to many dentists n either the staff are rude or dentist are rude and don't care what you are saying or how your feeling. I have been coming for awhile now and staff are also kind. My kids also come n have never had problems. Would highly recommend Dr Jones she is very knowledgeable

Immoral. My mother went in to have her teeth looked at. They refused to address most of the problems. They gave mixed answers and wouldn't really answer a question. They told her they would fill one cavity at a time. When she went in for the cavity they told her it was a different tooth, a tooth that had no problems. They refused to fill the tooth that was causing pain. My mother gave me a signal that if she wanted them to stop she would sign no and I would tell them to stop. My mother has had trauma with other dentists. As they were giving her the novacaine she was in a lot of pain, she signaled me to tell them to stop but they wouldn't listen to me. She tried to tell them to stop, They refused to. My mother was sobbing and after they finished the injection they told her if she wasn't happy she could leave. They were rude and talked to her like a child. She deserves more respect then that. The next day we went and talked to the manager. She said the dentist was in the right and didn't violate my mother's rights. It was malpractice. People have rights and stop means stop. They dentist didn't have a right to violate my mother's rights. A few days after she started having extreme jaw pain and can't fully open her mouth. Today she went to the regular doctor next door and they pushed her to call them. Mom called the dentist office and they refuse to look at her. Extremely unprofessional and they need their licenses revoked. They won't even fix the problems they created.

Tiny waiting room, very few chairs for seating, quite uncomfortable to say the least. The assistant who called us back (of Asian descent) was absolutely wonderful and the only good thing I have to say about the visit. Shoutout to her, whomever she may be. She made a difference in what would have been an all around horrible expirience.
The Dental professional (blonde haired lanky woman late 50s) was one of the most rude I have yet seen in many years of any health related facility visits. I will never go back due to her matter of fact- over the top aggressive attitude which I found incredibly unnecessary and left the visit feeling very insulted and bad about myself. I had already been having a hard day, I really didn't need the extra damage to my sense of self worth.
She ranted on making excuses for her juvenile behavior by stating it is "her job" -her entitlment is laughable. Does she not realise it is MY job to decide she has a job to begin with? Without me/(clients) she would not generate revenue and now due to her, this company has officially lost my business. Sad to think I came to this office as a resolution for previous bad expiriences elsewhere! I do hope for proper administration to have a corrective talk with this God awful woman in regard to her unorthodox demeanor and proceedure. Public *be warned for what you're in for* there is no way I was the first and no way ill be the last to encounter this. Put an end to this foul treatment immediately!
