I called before I went here to be sure they took my insurance. The receptionist took my info. She said their system was down and would call me back before my appointment to let me know. I recieved no phone call. I went to my appointment checked I'm and nothing was said about them not being a provider for my insurance. They took me back. Did x rays. Then dr comes in and says we are not a provider of your insurance. I was livid. And no I'm not paying that bill. Respect people!!

When I said I wasn't interested in having x-rays taken because I just had them taken 6 months ago, instead of respecting my decision, the dentist mockingly said I would get more radiation going outside for 15 minutes. I also was told I needed to be drilled for 3 different cavities. I went to another dentist for a second option and they said there were no cavities and I didn't need any work done. I wouldn't recommend this office.

Waukee Family Dentistry is fabulous. I have gone to them since the early 2000's. They are wonderful at accommodating my schedule and even have appointments at 7:00 am. Today I had a filling replaced that had decay under it. I was out of the office within 35 minutes of arriving, with a new filling, all without any pain! The staff is friendly and professional. Your comfort is their main concern. Doctors Lisa and Tina are the best dentists that I have ever used. I have moved to just south of Ankeny but still drive to Waukee for these great dentists!

Nice front desk person. Facility is outdated, in dire need of a makeover. Dentist was unprofessional and showed no sense of urgency in addressing my concerns while attempting to make me feel like I owed her something for squeezing me in. After discussing with members of the community in Waukee the general feedback was my visit and the atmosphere was consistent with the experience of others. Hygienist was nice. Dentist has a terrible disposition about her and the way she carries herself. Generally off putting in her nature and done so in a way that she probably doesnt even realize she makes people feel this way.
