Aspen Dental

I was told they accept Medicare when I made my appointment. I called three times to confirm this, at the local Aspen Dental in West Burlington, Iowa. Nobody answered and their answering machine said call back during regular business hours. Each time I called, it was during business hours. I get to my appointment this morning and find out that they do not accept my insurance. Very disappointed and will never recommend them to anyone!!!

It was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I recommend to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

Friendly staff, good place to go for dental

My fiance called yesterday (2/6/2023) asking if they took her insurance, the lady responded we take most insurances, and they could get her in first thing in the morning (2/7/2023), and when my fiance asked specifically if they took her insurance, she hung up. So today (2/7/2023) my fiance drove up there for her scheduled appointment, they told her they didn't accept the insurance, and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend if you prefer a customer service based business.

Have been going there for more than 10 years. I had 2 cleanings scheduled 6 months apart. The second cleaning was canceled because their hygienist is not very consistent in scheduling. It took me some time to reschedule because of holidays and such. I call to reschedule and they tell me that I HAVE to come in as a new patient, get x-rays again, the higher office visit charge just to get the cleaning that was canceled by them. She said every 2 years if you don't come in, you have to be set up as a new patient. I asked when last time I was in. She said November 2021. I said 2 years would be November 2023 and it's only Jan 2023. And this is the kicker, I kid you not, she said they "Go by the year, not the month and date." So even though technically it's only been 14 months since my last visit, that renders me a "new patient." So if I have to pay to be a new patient again, even though a loyal patient for over 10 years, then I will just set up as a new patient with another dental clinic.

Nobody "likes" the dentist. Lol. This office couldn't of been more phenomenal! Every staff member was personable. They were extremely professional. The cost and service was exceptional! Thank you !

The staff there was very nice and explained everything to me that needed to be done. Also helped me with financing to fix my teeth. Very much grateful. Would highly recommend.

I'm one of those people that have panic attacks with dental procedures. Today, however, was a very good experience. The dentist took the time to talk to me a few moments before she began her work, and did the work with no errors and complete professionalism. This is a high quality dental office with employees who are kind and very skilled at what they do.

Super friendly, non-judgmental and welcoming atmosphere. Entire staff is very polite, knowledgeable and thorough.

Wait time was minimal. Everyone was super friendly. Felt that all staff was knowledgeable! Not anxious about going back!!!

Poor office practice and they then blame the patient for their mistakes. Would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Make sure the lady on the phone hears you correctly. I waited 40 mins past my appointment time just to be told there wasn’t enough time to fix my dental issue for the day. Maybe if I got in around my actual appointment time, we could have got it done. receptionist could use some re training. She said she misunderstood and thought I needed a referral to Iowa city. Not one time did anyone mention Iowa city in our conversation. Wow. Completely unbelievable.

Took a hour to get me from the waiting room and I'm still sitting in this chair waiting for nothing .. it's been 2 hours of nothing.

The entire office was friendly and the doctor and hygienist were thorough and cared about my comfort. Highly recommended!

Had an appointment at 8 30am didn’t get called till almost 10 then when I got to the back had to wait another 30 minutes to see the doctor. Then once he came in he said ok let’s take a look by the time he was done I was given an estimate for over $ 2,300 dollars and had to make another appointment to get the tooth pulled that I originally came in for which I had to pay for upfront before they would make appointment.

I was leary of going to a dental franchise but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was professional and knowledgeable. They helped me get financing for services and dentures. Highly recommend.

VERY DISSATISFIED with my dentures. I have asked to have them redone because the are so big I cant hardly eat with them and my snap in one wont stay snapped in worth a darn

At 1st my visit to the office was not as smooth as I hoped. I had given staff insurance information before hand. My appointment was not prepared for, and in short left open ended. So I took matters into my own hands and made the follow up call. I spoke with a regional manager who immediately tasked for my appointments and was a complete "Gem" to work with. My husband & I are set with our treatment plan and excited to get our new smiles 😃 Thank you Jessica for your determination and professionalism! See Y'all soon!
