Always a good experience. Updates are sent before appointment and just sign the updates when arrive and get right in don't even wait most visits. Staff is always quick and awesome to deal with. Dr Reno is always awesome listens and asks questions. Went in for my cleaning and check up today. Was again quick and handled very professionally my cleaning went great. I was asked many questions and had x-rays and teeth checked and results explained. I would recommend coming here. Been coming for about 3 years now.

I would be "very hesitant" to have this dentist do any type of service on me. His responses to negative reviews seem to be opportunities for him to personally "attack" a dissatisfied customer. I find that extremely immature for a professional.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Staff is rude and not intelligent, I understand errors happen but they are negligent. Filled a tooth that was completely dead and needed removed, billed for services that didn't happen, and having inappropriate conversations with one another while performing services on a patient. Hope you have a better experience
Quality of service has gone downhill over the past few years. Seems as if there has been a higher turnover rate. I've received exceptional care in the past, but my latest check-up was painful. The dental hygienist was aggressive when cleaning my teeth and questioning my responses to her questions even though I was being transparent. I had a filling 8 months ago and to this day suffer from nerve damage. I can no longer taste on one side of my mouth as a result of the local anesthesia that was administered two or three times...local anesthesia that failed to kick in until after the filling was complete. I could feel the drill the entire time. Dr. Reno prescribed me methylprednisolone and referred me to an oral surgeon in an attempt to address it. Four months ago, I scheduled an appointment for 12/9/21 at 8:40 am, but I received two separate emails stating that I had two appointments scheduled two months apart. One in December 2021 and the other in February 2022. I called to clear that up. The week before my appointment, I received an email stating that I had an appointment scheduled for 12/9/21 at 8:40 am, which was accurate. However, the week of my appointment I received another email stating that I had an appointment scheduled for 12/9/21 at 7:50 am. I called to check on it and the front desk told me that the 8:40 slot was filled and she has me down for 7:50. I explained to her my situation and the emails that I had received, but her response was "I don't know". There's a bug in their scheduling system that hasn't been fixed for at least four months or their scheduling team is making changes to appointments without the patient's discretion.
In response to the comment below, I can assure you that this feedback is coming from a former patient of 10+ years. I wanted to give this practice the benefit of the doubt since permanent nerve damage is rare after dental anesthesia. Plus, as previously mentioned, I've received exceptional care in the past. But the decrease in q

Great experience! We had to take our 8yr old in to remove a fibroma on her lip. Dr Davidson was straight forward with her about what was happening and his assistant Jenny was very encouraging to her. It was very quick and easy and they were so gentle. Thank you all, including front desk staff!

I do not like going to the dentist but I can honestly say that each appointment is a "positive and pain-free" experience. Whether I am in there for my 6 month checkup or a root canal, I know what to expect. I have been seeing doctor Reno for approximately 18 years and would recommend him to everyone. Also, his hygienists are professional and knowledgeable. They are always there with the answers to your questions and can ease away any stress you may be experiencing.

I left my previous dentist many years ago because they were so rough with my mouth when they cleaned my teeth. Dr. Reno's office has always provided gentle care...until my last visit. The hygienist that helped me was so friendly and nice to talk to, but she was very rough with my cleaning. I left sore from my appointment for the first time in years.

Great service, kind receptionists and dental hygienists who answer all of my questions and concerns. I always appreciate the energy of this office and Dr Reno’s expertise. No matter where I’ve moved, I’ve returned back to this office even if the drive is out of the way.

I had a root canal done. The procedure went well. However for two years afterwards the tooth still bothered me. I would bring it up at every cleaning/checkup. They would x ray and look but would say they were unsure why it was still hurting. I moved out of the area and at my first appointment my new dentist x rayed and spotted a possible issue. He referred me to an endodontist immediately. I had to have another root canal due to part of it not being fully cleaned out. I wish I had been referred when I first said the tooth was still bothering me. Not almost 3 years later.
The staff were always kind and did their jobs well. During my time going to Dr Reno this is really my only major complaint.

Dentophobia- fear of visiting the dentist, does this describe you, because this used to be me! I have lived for years with multiple broken teeth and on again off agin abscess teeth, if you have ever had an abscess tooth pain it is on another level! After years of dealing with these issues Dr. Reno finally convinced me to give him a chance, and it was the best decision I have made for my oral health! Not only did he do a phenomenal job at removing all 3 broken teeth but his staff was amazing as well. The ladies did a great job administering the numbing shots and that was as painless at it could possibly be and in one visit that took maybe 45 min he and his staff had removed all 3 teeth! I know I’m not alone when it comes to being afraid of the dentist let Dr. Reno and his staff help you overcome your fears and give yourself a healthy mouth to go along with it!!!!

Dr. Reno has been our family dentist for many years. He is the best dentist that we have had and the staff is great! They all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and safe. They care about your overall health, not just your dental health.

We have bounced between several dentists here in Wichita over the past 20 years, but never found one that everyone in the family totally fell in love with. That changed when we went to Dr. Reno's office. His staff is very friendly and helpful, his hygienists are gentle but thorough and Dr. Reno is outstanding! Very glad we were given his name and took a chance on an appointment.

Well I was going to stay quiet about this and just switch dentists but after the 5th night of only a couple hours of sleep I changed my mind. I've been going to Dr. Reno for the last couple years, a few months ago I had a toothache so I went to see them, they gave me antibiotics and pain medication and the tooth got bettter but I was broke so I didn't go see the specialist, I really screwed up there. Flash forward to yesterday; I had an appointment that I had made the previous week (btw when you call to make an appointment they will never offer you any appointment less than a week away unless you beg) originally I made the appointment to get fitted for a crown ( for a root canal they were unable to do) but in the time between setting the appointment and then I had developed ever intensifying pain in a different area so the appointment changed focus. After an x ray they again referred me to a specialist and wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic and nothing for pain. When I asked why I was told it was because I hadn't followed through on their previous recommendations. I was asking for Tramadol. This is the worst dental pain I've ever experienced and they basically accused me of drug seeking and sent me packing. To top it all off I never even saw the actual dentist. This was all done by his assistants. I'm hoping the antibiotics kick in soon, I'm sure my liver is getting tired of the 2000 mg of ibuprofen I have to ingest every day to get to the point of just intensely wincing. I live east of Wichita and their office is at 21st and ridge so if I'm gonna get treated like a criminal I might as well find somewhere closer to home to do it.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Reno now for over 12 years and I have nothing but praise for his gentle style and excellent staff. If I could give 6 stars I'd do it in a heartbeat! My recent visit was (as always) excellent and I highly recommend Dr. Reno to anyone I know looking for a life-long dentist who really does care about his patients and knows his craft very well.

I have been going to Michael Reno DDS for bi-annual cleanings for nearly 14 years now. Never once have I regretted a visit. Staff are always friendly, prompt, professional and courteous, and facilities are always impeccably clean. I've never had a hygienist who has been anything other than gentle.
