Honestly to be live an amazing state and have such a horrible experience is bad went there Thursday my daughter needed surgery no calls returned no nothing took her to regular dentist who said she has a horrible infection and the worse surgery he ever seen I give this place a SHUT DOWN IVE SEEN BEATEN DOGS TREATED BETTER

i made 3 trips (driving 8 hours & having my mother take off work to drive me from my surgery) just for them to reschedule on day of my surgery after arriving. one of the people working at the desk had her husband brining everyone’s coffee and he felt the need to put his 2 cents in too when i was trying to have a conversation about the rescheduling with the front desk. not to mention they had sent me to an orthodontist for me to ask them what they think they should do to 2 of my teeth because they didn’t know.. then completely didn’t listen to what my orthodontist had said.

Not good at all. Took my son to the orthodontist not even 5 min in the chair after rushing to get there after work for them to say nope not yet. This is the second visit of the same. Will be going elsewhere for his braces

From start to finish the staff, students, doctors, and nurses— just all of them were very helpful and so friendly. I’m scared of the dentist and they were so good at keeping me calm til everything was over. They were quick and efficient but I never felt like they were just rushing anything. They took what could’ve been a scary experience and instead made it one that changed my point of view on dentist. So 10/10

My mother went here. The student didn't nerve block right resulting in an hour orore of torture and panic attacks where she couldn't breath. The video shw had was proof they don't care nor do the older doctor teaching care. One held her down kicking and screaming begging them to stop. I hope your proud of yourself doctor lady. My mom already has agoraphobia and has such a time leaving the house without panicking. She hasn't came out of her room her jaw is swelled like a balloon with infection. Pain beyond measure and nightmares. Look for another avenue of work. You all didn't have to treat her like an addict because she had bad teeth. Her teeth was a result of of stomach issues causing nausea and stomach cancer. I heard one of your so called trainees Label my mother. You people a ignorant and you shouldn't have put someone like my mom thru the hell you did. The Asian guy may have been rude but at least he numbed her at the end. Sorry excuses waste of time and money. People aren't guinea especially if they already have severe health issues.

Worse place ever, I had to call 20 times to get an appointment for my kids

Long wait..but they do accept Medicaid and tell you upfront about the wait and go above and beyond to fit you in for emergency services

Horrible experience altogether. I live an hour and a half away and I’ve been there at least 5 times just to see a student dentist for 10 mins and go back home. We had figured out I would need to have my teeth removed and was given a total on how much I would need to pay. I’ve prepaid a little less than half of it and now I’ve been told A completely different price that’s over 3 times the original amount I was told. Every time I call i’m on hold for at least 15-20 mins just to have the call timeout and I have to call back. When I finally get someone I’m transferred around to someone else to be told something completely different than what I was told the last time. I understand this is a university dentistry but after all this trouble i don’t even feel comfortable having them work on my mouth.

I drove my closest friend from Louisville to see the staff in Lexington months ago, because they were said to be able to take care of severe periodontal issues. My friends bar had fallen off of her bottom teeth and they didn't treat her whatsoever after a total 3 hour drive. Said they would call her back about the next step (clearly a cleaning), yet act confused about how to do so for months. My friends pain has gotten so bad that she cannot eat and wants to give up on getting care all together. What do you guys expect will happen if you never address her pain? UK, wise up and call your patients back. Shameful

Ridiculous expensive!!! Absolutely non sense to charge what they charge. I would not recommend going here if cost is a concern. I am almost certain you can find just as good of care at a much cheaper price.

I was in a lot of pain,and the treatment I received by students and staff was exceptional. So grateful that this school exsist and everyone involved is so dedicated.

My experience with the dental students was great. However, the rest has been hell. I was expecting great new teeth so I could visit family I've not seen in 12 years and to be with my daughter for her bday in June. The labs made my interim dentures wrong. So I'm without teeth.. The resident surgeon didn't send me home with antibiotics after full mouth extractions...got abcess, ended up in ER, and kidney injury, bone has come thru all of my mouth, so tmore surgery. Two weeks later ..I have more bone coming thru. I went thru complete teeth removal due to radioactive iodine issues. If I'd known the hellaciious experience this would be, I would have taken the broken teeth to my grave. Very unhappy, depressed

I have never met doctors that are more committed to patients than at UK. I had my wisdom teeth removed here (I believe by Dr. Bryant Salmon) and he made me feel completely comfortable as did the other doctors I consulted with before the surgery. I have also had to see Dr. Aditi and Dr. Adel for other reasons and both of them treated me like family, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and wellbeing. I cannot recommend them enough. UK Dentistry is relatively cheaper than other places but the service is exceptional and the work is excellent.

The scheduling clerk is awful. She talked over me and then wasnt helpful at all...just didn't care. No matter what I'd say, she would just talk over me and then say the exact opposite of what she just said before. I can't, like I can't. I went through a really traumatic deal that got me dealing with UK dentistry and I'm too afraid to call because everybody's so freaking rude there and it's not the best having students working on a trauma case. Don't recommend.

It was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist before the two that was working on my teeth was really rough on me and hurt my neck really bad thay numbed my gums 8 or 9 times and also stuck the back of my jaw twice so I was stuck 11 times in the gums and jaw thay broke my root off up in my gum and had to cut the outher part out of my gums and I have 12 stitches and thay sent me home after pulling two teeth with nothing for pain it still hurts really bad and I cry at times my jaw hurts really bad it's not fair being in so much pain thay could have a lest gave me something for my pain instead of sending me home with nothing and in pain I will not be going back to that dentistry ever agine and I don't think I would recommend any one to go there.

Had all my wisdom teeth removed top had to be cut so they could find they done ok with the removal but the pain I'm in is awful now

The lady and gentlemen that took care of me were very caring in every way, after they acknowledged that I was very nervous and worried about getting my tooth extracted. The Gentleman kept asking if I was okay and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I did not feel any pain or a pinch at that. I wish I can remember the names, but they did great. Thank you

If you want to experience the future of socialized medicine/dentistry this is the place to go. The urgent care clinic is like a visit to Cuba. There is no clear sign describing where to go, and everyone rushes the window when it opens, without regard to the order of arrival. A disgrace. Then when pass go you will find the minimum treatment cost is $157, which is 57% higher than IUPUI dental school in Indianapolis. The reviews for this facility are frightening.

Got the appointment fast, and was seen right on time!
