If you fear getting dental work, have had bad experiences in the past or just looking for a place that does quality work, yet treats you like family, look no further! I’ve had a horrible experience in the past, like most do. I was hesitant about getting dental work done. After doing research, I decided I would give Dr. Chauvin a chance. The office is located outside of the heavily trafficked areas. I despise driving in Lafayette, but I can easily avoid the chaos. Plenty of parking room as well. But the best was inside that building. Upon arriving, I was met by staff who were incredibly welcoming. I was instantly put at ease. My dental health was neglected for years, so there is always the fear of judgement. I never felt judged, his entire staff made sure I was completely comfortable. I got a sense of “they seen a lot worse”. I met with Dr. Chauvin and we came up with a plan, stuck with that plan and it changed my fears of getting dental work done. The exam rooms are designed to keep you relaxed. There isn’t a single negative thing to say about the service, staff, environment or location. I moved out of the city and had to see a dentist on short notice. I made the mistake of going somewhere closer to home and left in tears over how I was treated. This dentist had zero knowledge of SSRI’s triggering people to grind their teeth in their sleep and even made the comment that he only sees grinding in patients who use methamphetamine. Not only did I feel humiliated, offering them to drug test me, it hurt my self esteem to the point I felt hopeless. I was born with an inherited gene that leaves your teeth very vulnerable, as they are very “soft”. The grinding shortened my teeth significantly. The biggest mistake was going see the other dentist and not going back to the one who had already proved how outstanding the services were. I have no doubt that I’d be in a much better situation had I trusted my gut and not go for a place closer to home. Dr. Chauvin and his team

Best dentist I have ever been too, I am always to scared to go in but dr.chauvin always finds a way to make me feel better. He’s super gentle and takes his time and makes sure you are comfortable. I have countless good things to say about him. He’s the only person I will ever go to.

if I could put more stars I would. The staff there is absolutely wonderful and friendly, courteous. I have never been fond of going to the dentist, but Dr. Chauvin's office has changed that. I have had 2 teeth pulled and a periodontal cleaning and scaling and they made sure I was comfortable during he whole visit. They talk to you as they are doing the procedure to ensure that you aren't hurting and they do a little bit of explaining of what they are going to do. I absolutely love going there to get my smile back. I tell everyone who needs a GREAT dentist, to go there. 100% the best

Didn’t even get to see them, my kids appointment was an hour apart and I was never told I couldn’t go in with them and I wasn’t told that we couldn’t be early and it was 46 outside and the staff was not nice about it so we left.

Staff is friendly, smiling, and very supportive and the office is always clean and welcoming too. I have never felt like "just a patient" here. Dr. Chauvin makes sure I understand what he is doing and why. Has really changed my entire expectation of what a dental experience should be. Highly recommended.

I wish I could of found this dentist office year's ago. I absolutely love it. Staff is so friendly and helpful, the service was AWESOME, I would recommend this office to everyone. I never say I love a dentist office, but you guy's are AWESOME

Friendly staff!! Clean office. Calm atmosphere. My 7 year old son was never a fan of going to our previous dentist. It was always chaotic, loud, they sat him in a chair and just went to work. They never explained what they were doing to him. Just lay the chair back, which would catch him off guard and scare him, tell him open his mouth, brush, and send him on his way. The staff and Dr's at this office are great! They talked to him before anything. They explained what they were doing. They warned him before they laid the chair down on him. The continued to have conversation with him as they did what needed to be done. Now going to the dentist isn't such a big deal for him! Definitely recommend going to Dr. Chauvin and his staff!!!

I have avoided the dentist ever since my previous dentist retired 5 years ago. A friend recommended this dental office and I was pleasantly surprised. I was seen by Dr. Swan who was amazing! I felt comfortable and relaxed. The staff was awesome and everyone was friendly and super nice. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely the best dentist office I've ever been. They are extremely helpful and kind. I've seen two different dentists there and both were amazing. I've always hated going to the dentist, but I can honestly say that I don't dread going anymore. Their prices are reasonable. They explain things thoroughly without being condescending. AND they get you in and out of the office quickly. I highly recommended them to my friends and coworkers. My friend went today and she loved them too!
