Had a cracked tooth between Christmas and new years. Immense pain. Was able to get into see Dr Levy who took care of the pain temporarily until I could get root canal and permanent crown. Dr Billings did the root canal and crown, both temporary and permanent. Great staff there. Highly recommend if you are in need of dental work. Great location if you’re on the NorthShore as it’s right at the foot of the bridge.

I visited Dr. Billings for undiagnosed tooth pain and had no idea how that interaction would change my life. At the time, my quality of life was terrible. I was getting maybe 1-2 good hours of sleep a night, was extremely tired throughout the day, and had extreme headaches on most days. Upon examining me, Dr. Billings asked a series of questions and I was amazed that the questions were directed at how I had been feeling the last several months. I then scheduled an in-depth evaluation which resulted in a detailed treatment plan specific to TMJ/sleep apnea. It was expensive, but I was desperate and willing to try it out. The success of Dr. Billings treatment is largely dependent on the patient following the plan. I was provided with two mouth devices (one for daytime and the other for nighttime). Controlling my eating habits was probably the toughest part of the process. However, Dr. Billings and his staff were fully supportive throughout the entire process. As a result…I got my sleep back and my headaches are pretty much nonexistent now. The tooth pain has also subsided, and I lost 15 pounds as an added benefit. I’m so happy with the results and highly recommend Dr. Billings for TMJ/sleep issues! This was the best money that I’ve ever spent!

I had an amazing experience with my daughter. The staff at all levels and encounters were incredible. Their knowledge and how to communicate to parents was impressive. My daughter left saying she liked them, and she’s not a fan of the dentist.

I went for a jaw pain initial visit. They took a very thorough evaluation of me that took almost 4 hrs. I learned so much from the visit about how so many of my issues were related to my breathing, tongue and jaw. This was the most intense and complete doctor visit that I have ever had. I highly recommend them.

Great services as always! And with this last visit I found out that it has been almost 6 years post my TMJ treatment. “Times flys when you have fun.” I have enjoy this past 6 years being pain free (no more migrants) and better quality of life. Thanks to all these wonderful team!

I consider Terry not only my Dentist but my friend. When I was trying to encourage my husband to resume having dental care as an adult (because he was terrified from a childhood experience with another dentist), I confided in Terry the problem that I was having. He offered to just have a consult where he didn't even open my husbands mouth, just a meet and greet, so to speak. Needless to say, his patience, kindness, and skill won my husband over and now, years later, and with all the work that so desparately needed to be completed done, my husband has a smile that he can be proud of. I am forever grateful to Terry, Missy, and Tammy in his office for making that possible.

Dr. Billings and his staff are the nicest, brightest and happiest people I’ve ever seen in a dental office, and most other places in the world for that matter. I had to go in December and each room was decorated for the holidays, which made the already welcoming atmosphere that much warmer and more comfortable. Dr. Billings is obviously incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, has a wonderful way of using analogies and explaining things to you, and even has a few jokes up his sleeve. I was seen within 5 minutes of finishing my paperwork and was in and out of the office much quicker than I even thought possible for my personal situation. I love Billings Family Dentistry. I used them to help with my TMJ. If you are struggling w jaw pain, this is the place to go. I have be battling w TMJ for over 5 years until I found Dr. Billings. He helped me find the cause of my pain and then taught me what to do to reduce the pain and now, I have hardly any pain. When my jaw is aggravated I know it’s due to what I have been eating or drinking. I have learned to make better choices that will help my health. His team taught me the importance of diet, cleaning my nasal passage, and breathing properly. Because of this team, I now sleep better, have hardly any pain in my jaw, and know what to do to manage my TMJ. The knowledge of what causes my pain is powerful. The team it self is so fun. I enjoyed everyone there and they truly make you feel like family. I searched for a long time for a TMJ doctor and was grateful to find this practice. If you are suffering w TMJ, I highly recommend Dr. Billings. Once I started using him for my TMJ, I also used him for my regular dental needs and that side of the business was just as proficient.

Best Dentist Family EVER; I travel from Violet to see them faithfully. Wouldn’t trade them for ANYTHING. I ALWAYS get compliments on my teeth and how perfect they are. It’s because I’m in the BEST CARE!

I originally thought he was great but I have to say that I have never met a more narcissistic, arrogant Provider. The last time I was there I left in tears. I went to him because my tooth had been hurting for over a year and no other dentist could figure out why. He surmised (after a test he did) that it was cracked but horizontally so that it wouldn’t show up on an X-ray, hence no other dentist being able to figure out the issue. Instead of treating the tooth he focused on my TMJ, his specialty, that cost $5k to treat with new contraption. Months after I left his office in tears guess what happened??? My tooth broke completely in half to the root. Could that tooth have been saved before it broke? I guess we’ll never know. If I could give him zero stars, I would.
