Casse Dental Health Institute

I was struggling to find a dentist who accepts Medicaid, as I have had some awful experiences in the past, but I’m so glad someone referred me to their Shreveport office because they honestly exceeded all my expectations. The reception staff, hygienist, & even the dentist himself were all wonderful. I’m hoping this review will help other people like me who have Medicaid & are wary of going to the dentist. Don’t hesitate to make your appointment with them!

Don't never get a person on the phone.. why even have one at this point

The dentist I seen is located in Bossier City Casse Community Dental. The dentist I seen was an Older Caucasian Gentleman. Rude rude rude, I am not sure if its because I received medicaid or not but he was HORRIBLE. It shouldn't matter what type of insurance a person receives, treat people right with compassion ! There were tooth particles, left in my gum where he extracted a tooth of mine I was not in pain at ALL prior to the visit, I requested filings for two small holes in my tooth he recommended not. He stuck my gum so many times he had the hardest time ever trying to pull my tooth out i am still in some pain it's been two weeks the office refuses to answer the phone or return my messages. Something isn't right about those two places there are absolutely to many people complaining/& reviews are horrific both Shreveport and Bossier Dental offices. what's really going on? I will never ever recommended a dog 🐕 to neither of these facilities.

Went in for my appointment i waited over a hour past my appointment time then when I got to the back dr.Russ was so rude and rough ! This is the worst place ever ! !

My daughter went for dental work. She heard her first and last name and what medication she was formerly on being discussed with out her permission. The dentist stuck her to numb her but still able to feel. He DID NOT stop when she raised her hand to let him know she was in pain. He never addressed her or gave a moment to calm down she was very upset. She called several times to report the issue. She spoke to Sandra. She told her Victoria would call . It has been 3weeks and she hasn't gotten a call.

Great experience everytime I go

Dr.Russ is so awesome he does wonderful work. Now that other dentist the older one please don’t let him in your mouth he’s awful he put to much filling in my tooth now I have to go back in the morning just to get if fixed I never want him in my mouth again. He needs to retire or go do something else he’s a horrible dentist

Office workers are absolutely horrible. Dentist and hygienist are awesome! They don’t like answering phones and when appts made months in advance they will cancel on you. People work and can’t answering their phones that is why we call you back and leave 2 voicemails confirming our appt. Then you want to complete take us off and pretty much say good luck 😡

Absolutely horrible the nurse who worked on my teeth hurt me and did not care the whole time. The dentist him self smelt horrible. Might as well have poured cologn down my throat. I received a call from the dentist office I first chose to go to but could not get an appointment. They let me know With the issues I'm facing I should have been given a deeper cleaning. This office gave me the bare minimum care and only cared about speed. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.

Great experience at Casse Dental! Office manager answered my questions when I called to make appointment. Short wait time. Latest x-ray equipment. Great care from Dental Assistant, Laura and Dentist, Dr. Russ. Highly recommend.

If it had the option to put zero stars I would this is not a good dentist they will tell you your teeth bad and need to be pulled but yet they give you a appointment a year from know I hate this dentist they get people in sooner who they want to see don’t make any sense all rude and slow to they can be. They really need to shut down wouldn’t recommend nobody to them they always say there’s nothing they can do but throw u on a waiting list

Dr. Russ is one of the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He’s very professional & has a very calming demeanor. Being comfortable at the dentist is very important to me, as I am not a fan of just about any procedures. But Dr. Russ makes me feel very content & his work is wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Russ to every one I know! Thank You So much Dr. Russ, you’re amazing!

This dentist is AMAZING!! All the staff are! My husband who is very picky about dentists had an appointment today. It was an emergency appt, they got him right in and got his tooth fixed. He could not say enough great things about the dentist himself. He said it was the best work he has ever had on his teeth! Definitely 10/10 recommend this dentist office!!

They always have something going on with their system. I have had 2-3 appointments canceled and two I have not gotten a call about and found out as I arrived for my appointment that I no longer had one. Therefore, I have to call before every appointment to make sure that they kept my appointment.

Staff is great except the actual dentist at the Shreveport location. She has a horrible attitude and no compassion whatsoever. Take your dental needs elsewhere.

The staff here is awesome. After calling around to so many different dental offices they where the only one that took me in without waiting days. They are so welcoming making me feel like family Mrs Laura and Dr Mike are absolutely the best. I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else. The Bossier office only

Had an appointment today and when I got there it was cancelled because they couldn't get in touch with me didn't try to use the contact number they used for me before to get in touch with me previously for my first appointment...I couldn't get my x-rays to go to a different dentist because they "didn't have access"...I just need this tooth out of my mouth and all they wanna do is give you antibiotics and some ibuprofen

I don't know what everyone is complaining about but I got great service and the girls and both dentists at the Bossier office are outstanding. I mean the majority of everyone is medicaid & they all still complain. The girls do a great job confirming appointments & such & if u don't call to confirm then it's YOUR fault not theirs. I highly recommend them. So very nice.

This place is a joke. Sending me to different offices. Calling to move me from one office to another. No answering of the phones. Nobody knows what is going on. The dentist left before I got there when I had called earlier in the day to confirm because they never call to confirm. A total cluster ****

Had an appointment. Came all the way from Coushatta just to find that they gave my appointment away. Only because they didn't get an answer to the phone call the day before to the wrong number! They should have asked for my phone number when I made the appointment, especially if I haven't been there in over a year.
