Had been with my previous dentist since 1986 who just retired in August. He was the only dentist I’d ever gone to so I was nervously searching for a new one. My daughter in law goes here so I thought I’d give them a try. Very happy I did! I am very needle shy and Dr. Gaz was great. She’s a wizard when it comes to novacane. Staff was very warm and friendly too. Can’t say enough good things about this practice.

Dr Barrett is very professional and efficient as is Holly, her assistant. Have had some old fillings redone with white fillings and am very satisfied. Thank you.

I've been a patient for 20 years. Never had a bad experience with Dr. Emily, or the entire staff. Great practice, and I'm thankful for such caring group of providers, and the ability to squeeze in an emergency repair in less than 24 hours!

Called after hours and left a message regarding a minor tooth issue. They called first thing the next morning and had me sitting in a chair before lunch. A great group of professionals who really care about their patients.

Certain staff are quite rude and demanding! They're very expensive even with insurance, they will agree to payments but will still drive you crazy about your remaining balance. "When will you be paying your balance off" will be the first thing that is said to you upon arriving and at times again before you leave... even if you have literally just paid them hundreds of dollars. On the up side their Dental Hygienists are all super sweet.

I was one of the first patients when the practice started in Hampden and after all these years I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. From the first appointment I felt that everyone genuinely cared that I was comfortable and aware of what was being done. The relaxed atmosphere throughout the office transfer nicely into a relaxed patient. I wonder if anyone besides me has fallen asleep in the chair while the drill is in action.

I’ve been treated here since 2001, age five years old. The staff here is awesome, and is always kind. Emily is an awesome dentist and very thorough. I always recommend Hampden Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

This is undoubtedly the best dental practice in the state of Maine, but because it's in Hampden, fewer people know about it. The practice is exceptionally well run and organized without giving up any of the congeniality and personal attention I've come to expect. The practice has evolved over the years but remains a great place. Hopefully, these wonderful practitioners will be here for a long time. They are great.

I have been a patient for many years now and have never once regretted making the move to this practice. The staff has been wonderful and more than once I have needed immediate dental care and they have always managed to find a way to work me in. Dr. Emily always manages to stop in an say hi and she makes you feel like you are part of the family. I hope they remain a practice for a very long time because I'm a patient for life now.

Dr. Emily and the staff took their time and made it a great fit and checked in on me several times since then. They really care that you are a satisfied customer.

We’ve been patients of Hampden Family Dentistry since about 1996. They truly care about their patients and their work is top notch. They are honest about expected outcomes and the best course of action for each patient and when there’s something beyond, they are always willing to refer to an equally competent office. I’ve had root canals, crowns, veneers, and old fillings replaced. I’m super sensitive to dental pain and they always make sure I’m well-taken care of.
