I’ve been going to this practice for years (under Roberta Dosh) and have always looked forward to my cleanings. I have an appointment in two days and receive a call today stating that my insurance is no longer taken and that I will need to pay a co-pay for my cleaning when it’s usually 100% covered. After asking why this wasn’t communicated prior than two days before (considering we wait 6months for these appts) I was asked if I was going to still come in or cancel. I told the receptionist that I would call back because I was in the middle of something and needed time to think and was immediately sent this text after, “Hello Jessica, we understand you will be contacting our office in regards to your cleaning appointment on Wednesday, April 5th at 1:00pm. We do need to inform you that we require a 48 hour notice for any cancellations. Thank you!”. I loved this office so much that if it was handled in a better way I would have made sure I had an insurance they covered during open enrollment, but now I am looking for a different provider.

I am someone who is extremely afraid of going to the dentist due to a bad experience I had in the past. When I went to the Burtonsville Dental suite, they were extremely polite and welcoming to me. My hygienist was so nice and she explained things to me that, my fear went out of the window before she even started cleaning my teeth. When the dentist himself came later on, he too was very nice and polite. Just from the way he explained things to me, I could tell he is very knowledgeable.

The appointment began right on time. The staff were all very friendly. The office is clean and bright. My favorite part was that they used a camera to take pictures of my teeth and then showed them to me as Dr. Cha described the issues with my teeth. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone in need of dental care in the Burtonsville, MD and surrounding area. I live in Columbia myself, and it's a quick 10 minute trip to get there. The dentists are all knowledgeable, thorough and caring. The rest of the staff is excellent too, from dental hygienists to the front desk. I am very happy with the dental care I am receiving from this office!

This was my first time to this dentist office and from the start I let the Hygienist know that I had pretty good dental fears. Danielle, my Hygienist, was very understanding and helped me stay calm throughout the whole visit. I also let my dentist, Dr. Cha, know of my fear and again, she helped me stay calm. This is the second time I've been to Burtonsville Dental and the receptionist is always friendly. Alyssa is the gentlest of hygienists. Dr. Miller is also gentle while examining my mouth and friendly and professional when explaining things.
