Prior to my first appointment I made the staff aware of my anxiety surrounding the dentist and asked them to note that in my chart. My first initial appointment was good so I felt comfortable coming back. Every appointment after just got worse. My last appointment with Dr. Najim was the last straw for me. During the filling she at one point in a frustrated tone said “You need to floss.” She said it as if my dental work was an inconvenience to her. Like it was coming out of her pocket. At the end she was having me chew something but I guess I wasn’t doing it the way she wanted so instead of verbalizing what she needed, without warning she grabbed my jaw and pushed it shut hard. I felt that was very uncalled for especially after just having work done. I’ve had an issue with every filling she’s done, she left a sharp piece of product on part of my tooth that wasn’t even being worked on. I had to go back the next day cause it was cutting my tongue. Not to mention every time I went in I was charged more than what I was quoted, which I understand plans change but $200+ in changes? It was just an all around bad experience. No one should be shamed for getting help. I now go to Burlington Dentistry and love it!

Put sealant on the outside of my teeth without asking for “cosmetic reasons” during a routine cleaning. A little over a year later during routine flossing and it partially chipped off in the front of my mouth which now caused a sharp edge and discoloration. Hygienist recommended a waterpik for flossing, so I bought it. I was telling the dentist later about using it and She said to never use those as they cause gum receding. Never once needed fillings in 23 years, then needed 6-10 per year suddenly after coming to this practice. Friendly front desk staff and most hygienists. Clean waiting room.
