I was a long time patient here until it became apparent I was getting 'up sold' for various things I didn't really need. Was told I had "pits" on my teeth (a form of cavity) and they had to be filled. I asked to see these 'cavities' on the xray and was told they don't show up on xrays. I went along with the recommendation as he was 'a dentist' and figured my insurance would cover most of the cost. My insurance did cover most of the cost, but when I didn't pay the co-pay quick enough, I was threatened with sending my account to a collection agency. First they try to get you to take services you don't really need, then his office threatens to send your account to a collection agency when you don't pay the co-pay for his unnecessary services. I talked with 2 friends that were patients there and they had the same experience. It seems as though when you only need a cleaning, they try to up sell you other services and treatments - both of my friends had the same thing happen to them. If you're a current patient - how many times have services been recommended that you didn't really need? Buyer beware.....Try Chelmsford Dental Associates - a better experience with no up-selling. As for the office manager's response, the fact remains, they try to up sell you services you don't need (in my opinion). If the office manager wants to keep chirping with her non-sense response - I'm sure Dr. Lewis would have no problem if his up selling was reported to the board Board of Dentistry. Maybe they would like to look at his billing and practice records - including how many invisible "pits" he filled recently.

The nicest dentist ever! He was so helpful and kind! I hadn't been to the dentist in years and Dr. Lewis took care of everything! He didn't make me feel bad about it, he just plugged away at my cavities until they were all taken care of. He showed me the "before and after" of everything he did and explained as he went. He was great! My family and I will always go to him!
