Lakeview Dentistry of Charlevoix

Great office have been a patient since Dr. Makowski started practicing in Charlevoix. She is an exceptionally well talented dentist having completed inlays, onlays, and other restorations that have been completely solid for the past decade. Her staff are great people especially Linda upfront who helped me with my billing issues. Karen is an excellent hygienist and extremely thorough with a talent for periodontal maintenance (she’s almost more like a specialist). They recommended I keep my floss on the sink and to this day I remember to do it every time. Tammy, her dental assistant, is so kind and caring making the whole experience warm. I even get a warm neck towel and music to listen to during procedures (just ask and you shall receive). All around great office. Thank you Lakeview Dentistry!

Not the same work or level of care as in previous years. After the latest dental disaster (too long to post) I won’t ever be going back.

The staff here are very friendly and professional. Dr. Makowski is the most gentle and knowledgeable dentist I have ever had. She really listens and cares about her patients. I moved down state several years ago and I still kept her as my dentist because I believe she is the best! I highly recommend Lakeview Dentistry.

Melissa and her staff have always been great. My 3 boys have gone to Lakeview Dentistry for about 7 years. No matter our situation they have always gone above and beyond. It is great to have a dental team that cares so much about my boys teeth. Whether we were late for an appointment or accidentally missed one they have always been kind. Linda at the front desk always answers my questions and my boys love talking with her.

I love the hygienist Karen, she is very knowledgeable and great at what she does. She is professional, yet very comfortable to talk with! I feel like we are life-long friends!

I have been going to Dr. Makowski for years, and she has completed routine work, as well as, a crown that I desperately needed. Dr. Makowski is thorough and knowledgeable in her work. The environment is beautiful, with state of the art equipment, and the entire staff was fantastic! My teeth always feel squeaky clean when I leave, and the front desk helped me with payment options available through Lending Club because my dental insurance did not fully cover the cost of my crown. Highly recommend!

Dr. Makowski and her team are incredible. They provide dental care to our entire family and it is always a pleasure to see them! They are wonderful with our child who is on the spectrum and have been there for us since day 1. For me as a busy Mom I even get the royal treatment. I get a warm blanket, an ipod and a lavender neck wrap!!!!

Staff was very nice, though a little nosy, but the overall exam was very uncomfortable. The dentist recommended potentially thousands of dollars of treatment and without knowing if my insurance would even cover it, just sat there staring at me waiting for me to make a commitment to treatment. Who does that? No written treatment plan? No insurance verification? Then after all that I had to make a separate appointment for a cleaning three months later. I won't be going back.

Rude front staff. Won't let you ask Doctor the questions and then give you very general incorrect answers.
