That atmosphere is very comfortable, and the workers are very positive and kind. Definitely made me feel better about have to get cavities removed. They explained everything they were doing so I knew what was going on (even if I didn't understand some of the words they used :D). They also called the next day just to make sure nothing hurt to bad and everything was healing alright. 10/10 would recommend going there.

Looking for a new dentist? Look no further. If you want to do better, but you don't know where to start, this is it. I have not done the best taking care of my dental health but the team at Stag Dental has gone above and beyond to get me through my treatment plan and they will do the same for you. I can not recommend Stag Dental highly enough. The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. Whenever I discover someone is looking for a dentist this is where I send them.

When you walk in the door for the first time, and receive a sincere, friendly greeting, you will know that you are in good hands. I so appreciate Dr. Burke’s wide range of expertise, which means he can provide such miracles as getting my crown done from start to finish in one visit. There was little or no discomfort involved. The sense of camaraderie among everyone here makes a fun atmosphere so that you’ll never dread going to the dentist or put it off. Fun fact: Dr. B is also a musician. 🎶 He sings and plays guitar, so you might just see him performing at some local restaurant patio, or brewery. At the office, the musical is always playing, and he (and some of his assistants) will be singing or humming along with it. So we also get a little live music 🎶 with our dental care, at no extra charge!

Dr. Erik Burke Is the man! Staff member from the counter to the chair, amazing all the way through. I’ve never been in an office that is so Thorough with everything, from top to bottom. Never knew how to floss correctly until I met Dr. Burke and how to proceed with taking care of each tooth. Each step from making sure the bite is right, teeth are aligned and the care that is needed to keep healthy oral hygiene! I had questions and he had the answers. Not only did we talk but he actually showed how it’s done. This has been the most meaningful interactions that I have had and continue to have at Stag Dental!!! Love this man’s work and the challenges. I am happy to say this is a place you can put your word on. Dr. Burke thank you for an everlasting smile!

Great experience, super clean office, and friendly staff. I'm terrified of the dentist after having traumatic experiences as a kid. This is a dentist i will actually return to. I have tried countless dentists in the area, (born and raised in Petoskey, I've tried them all over the years, even Charlevoix and many Harbor Springs offices.) Dr Bourke, the dentist, made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, he explained his plan to me in a simple way, and i feel confident I'm going to get the care i need. My wife got two fillings and said it was a breeze! Thank you to the entire stag team, i would recommend this office to anyone, especially those who aren't particularly fond of going to the dentist.

I am so thankful for the care that was taken doing 2 fillings and a crown. Right down to knowing because I am a redhead I need a little more lidocaine than most. The team is very good at addressing concerns and making the experience a good one. After years of avoiding trips to the dentist I finally found a place I feel comfortable. They explain everything so you understand what they're doing and why they're recommending any procedures. Really friendly staff and totally understanding (like if you haven't gone to a dentist in 4yrs, like me, they don't shame you or make you feel bad at all). I've had awful luck with dentists since I moved to Northern Michigan and was really reluctant..... So glad I forced myself to go! I think I might have to stop being afraid of the dentist 😎

Dr. Burke and his staff, through their technical expertise and friendly communication, engendered my confidence from the moment I walked through the door of the well appointed office. The good doctor took the time to educate me on options, helped devise a reasonable plan for my dental needs, and then efficiently and gently performed an extraction and bone grafting in preparation for an implant.
