Office is ridiculous. They schedule months out and send NO reminders. Every other Dr send text reminders. They say there's a 75$ fee for missed appoints but they just kick you out instead. I now have a child with a slight dental emergency (spacer is cutting in to his mouth) and they refuse to help. Our insurance has Grove as his dentist so no other dentist will see him until it gets updated with a new dentist and it's Friday. . . So thanks Dr Groves office for letting my kid suffer and possibly develop an infection because like you said "it's not you responsibility " Dr Groces office is live in 1997....

I had a appointment for 10 am. I arrived 15 mins early, did the paper work update. I go back to room and the hygienist says are you on antibiotics because of my hip & shoulder replacement, I said no, she says I have to be on antibiotics before I am treated, she leaves the room to talk with dr grove, comes back in and says next time I must go to my surgeon and get antibiotics but they will give me antibiotics this time, I said I will call my surgeon first to see what they say, I go to my truck and call my surgeon, they it’s ok this time but it’s better if I get the antibiotics ahead of appointment. I go back inside and tell them it’s ok with my surgeon if they give me antibiotics, she says well we don’t have time to see you know!! I say it’s only been 6 mins since I left the room, she said they took the next patient in , I said well give me his appointment time. Then she said nope we offered you the antibiotics, then I said well when it comes to my surgeries I only trust my surgeon and not you because your not a surgeon or doctor, your just a dentist. She then says my doctor/patient trust has broken down and that they don’t want my business, AVOID THIS DENTIST. Wasted my day , I asked to speak with office manager or the dentist, she refused to do either, what a loser of a office help!!

Called to see if they took my insurance and the receptionist was extremely short with me. Told me "nobody around here will take that, maybe one or two in flint" then hung up on me. Extremely rude and if this is how they treat people who aren't their patients, I'd be very wary of going to this dentist based off this one experience alone.

This dentist is amazing! Very calm and professional and personable! Got me in quickly (same day I called) to recement my front tooth before the holidays my regular dentist was already on vacation and couldn't recement it in until January 3rd! So thankful for Dr. Groves he assured me he was using the best cement on the market bc it fell out twice with my other dentist! I 100% give him 5 stars and recommend him!

I went to Dr. Grove after not seeing a dentist for at least 20 years, I don't go because I hate it. On my first day, I was shaking so badly, I didn't think I'd stay in the chair. Everyone took great care of me, Dr. Grove numbed my entire mouth and although they didn't do everything I needed done (due to my anxiety) they took their time and did what they could. I now go every 6 months and although I'm still anxious, I know they will take good care of me and be compassionate and understanding.
