So I was born with a cleft lip and I’ve been to all sorts of dentists and oral specialist throughout my life, it really gets no better than what they’re doing at LHFD, Dr. Palomaki is amazing at what she does, when I was sore from my procedure I called the emergency line after hours and she got back to me that same night to make sure I was ok and see if I needed anything, now that is special care. You can feel the chemistry between Dr. and her assistants as they work great together, very smoothly run operation with attention to detail and as I stated earlier a great level of care. I drive two hours to this place for a reason, I really can’t say enough good things about it or thank them enough for what they’ve done to help me, very glad I found them and nowhere else I’ve ever been comes close.

Dr. Palomaki’s an artist in ways a dentist needs to be—she does beautiful work. As a mother of three and a full-time professional, she’s also a modern superwoman. That’s not all. She’s an outdoors woman, an avid skier, especially. This means she works hard but knows how to relax, how to have loads of fun. This smart cookie’s got everything in a delicate and capable balance. Why is this important? These attributes make her a terrific dentist, confident in what she knows and does but thoughtful, kind, and patient, too. She lets me rest my jaw during long procedures, for example. She’s calm and that keeps me from getting uptight. And she takes an interest in me as a human being. Thank you, Dr. Palomaki!

Dr. Paulomaki and her staff are all very accomplished with duties they perform. They explain their thoughts and write a treatment plan plus, of course, ask for your input. The office is very accommodating when scheduling appointments and because I have always feared dentists they give me what we call the big baby treatment - ask about it when you go you will be much less apprehensive when going to the dentist. Everyone in this office very easy going and my overall experiences here have been great!

I would recommend all of my family and friends to do to Dr Palomaki. She and her staff have provided me with excellent dental care for the last few years I started going to them. A few years ago I had a dental emergency and they squeezed me in to help with with my problem. I was so impressed with how welcomed they made me feel and the quick referral to another Dr to treat my problem that was high in the root area under a crown that I had done several years ago. The other Dr was able to save my crown and do the surgery up in the gum area without damaging the crown at all. I found myself having another issue with a different crown. Dr Palomaki again came to the rescue. She treated the issue temporarily and referred me to a local oral surgeon to treat my problem permanently. I appreciate her honesty and compassion when I go into her office. I live in L'Anse. Dr Palomaki's worth the drive to Marquette to take care of all of my dental care needs.

Dr Wissler retired so we had to find a new Dentist. Not very many taking patients, we were accepted here. Very pleased with the service for my son. :)

We love Dr. Palomaki's office. My son had to have a few fillings. They were so good with him. He is only 8 and can be squirrely like any 8 year old at times but they were creative and patient with him. And he got sick afterwards from the nitrous oxide. They made sure he was okay before we left and checked on him later that day to ensure he wasn't having any other issues.
