I am so happy my friend told me about this dentist office. Everyone was so kind and helpful. When I spoke to the dentist I didn't feel any type of judgement. He was so nice and took his time answering all of my questions. He was very soft spoken with my 7 year old son and told him everything he was going to do before he was going to do it to make sure he was comfortable and not scared. The staff was very sweet and answered all of my questions. Coming from someone who is terrified of the dentist, thank you for such a lovely experience.

So glad Dr. D and Dr. Chris were able to squeeze me in for a laser treatment on my coldsore when I started feeling the tingling sensation! I was able to get in and out in 15 minutes and my sore never erupted into a full blown blister! I had one treatment and that was it! The redness just below my lip took a while to return to its natural pigment, however SO MUCH BETTER than a full on massive blister that oozes the clear liquid for a couple of days, scabs over then starts to heal! The healing time with the laser treatment therapy was more like 5 days, compared to the typical 2-3 week healing process. Thanks Degenhardt Dental for making the time for me in your schedule and having the technology required!

Sadly I have terminated a long relationship with Degenhardt Dental. After being a patient for over 35 years I was ambushed by a dental co-pay of nearly $2000 for a crown. Front office staff of Debbie and Cassandra do not involve the patient in the payment process until the final bill. I had been accustomed to, and admit I assumed, that they would get at least get predetermination for this procedure as they have done in years past. Only when coming to realization that the co-pay I was facing was because there was NO PREDETERMINATION OF BENEFITS from our two dental insurance companies. I was dismissed and told "Only if the patient requests". My response was if you care about your patients you would at least ask if they wanted the inquiry. Oh sure they can put me on a payment plan. The fact remains where I believed there was a patient/doctor relationship and value in being loyal turned out to be false. My bad for thinking I would have been treated fairly. Let the buyer beware.

These guys are really top notch. The super friendly staff are not only sincere and nice, but they are all very knowledgeable and informative, from the front desk to the dentists. But that’s actually not even the best part, they are so skilled at what they do, and have extremely steady hands. I was looking for a good dentist for years after my childhood dentist passed away. It took a while and bad experiences at several other dentists, but I’m so glad I found them. I have been a happy client for over three years now!

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Degenhardt and his wife. After nearly 40 years with a wonderful periodontist who is closing his office near my residence, Dr. Degenhardt was recommended to me. My initial visit was extremely thorough (which I did not expect). It's obvious to me that this doctor and this practice take their work and the needs of their patients very seriously. Change can be difficult but I came away very comfortable. I recommend you give them a try!

TLDR: This is the best dental office I have ever been to. I am the type of person that would avoid going to the dentist at all costs - even though I knew that my dental health needed attention. When I reached a point where I was in so much pain that I couldn't sleep, I found Degenhardt Dental and was able to book an emergency appointment even though it was a holiday. One of my fears was that I would be judged/scolded for my lack of attention to my teeth however I have never felt/had any negative experiences/comments from anyone here. Everyone - admins, hygienists, and dentists - are all very welcoming and compassionate towards patients. I also appreciate how they will thoroughly explain what they are doing throughout procedures and be patient with any questions I have. If you strongly dislike going to the dentist, I highly recommend going to Degenhardt Dental. Honestly, the best dentist experience I have had.
