We were new customers to Lake Superior dental. Sadly they no longer accept our family insurance so we have to seek new dentist after years of being loyal patrons. They are new to Cloquet, previously were Lake Country Dental . Lake country was amazing… so sad to see this in our small town.

This place is awful. I'd made an appointment long in advance and informed them about both of my insurance in which I was told it was accepted. I called and the receptionist was rude and ignorant stating they could not take me as a patient because of one of my insurances.🤦🏾‍♀️ <I had my appt. scheduled for quite sometime and they were well in the knowing > I am a professional in this field and I'm totally blown away by this. Needless to say I'll be reporting the misconduct.

I don't remember when i moved here to North Country Dental from my old dentist. But i highly recommend them for teeth cleaning and excellent help in teeth problems. My children are 2.5 and 5 and the hygienist and the dentist always take the time to make them feel comfortable as well as to explain exactly what they are going to be doing and how it will probably feel. I have been a customer of this dentist since they took over the business in 1997, prior to that I have went to the same building with different owners since the 70's. My husband started there after we were married and our two children have been patients since they've had teeth. The bill has always been paid after insurance. We have Delta Dental, but because my husband who is an independent contractor, was in a severe car accident due to someone else's negligence over 3 months ago, and has been unable to work, and I am a teacher without employment during the summer, we are going through a time of serious financial hardship. I currently have two fractured teeth and I went in to have them capped. I was told I had to pay $400 down before they would start. I explained our difficult financial situation, and that we still have insurance, and I have always paid my bills, but they wouldn't do anything without a down payment. I guess being a good customer for years can't even count to have a heart and work out a payment plan? Time to find a new dentist.

Fat dentist screwed up my tooth procedure, during the procedure i heard her say 'oops' and "oh im not sure if thats the right one", the dentists assistant was giving her looks like "ugh this lady is an idiot" i was younger, nicer and dumber then, had to get tooth removed surgically, then charged because they didnt bill my insurance correctly...i was out 300$ for a screwup on their part. happened a while ago but i am still disgruntled about it because it has caused me problems still.
