If you're a new patient, they don't accept medicaid. Should probably update that. But super helpful in pointing me where to look.

I think it's been about 20 years that I've been coming to this dental office. My husband, son and Mom also come here. I've never had a bad experience and would recommend them highly. Dr Ecklund and Dr Merritt are both wonderful and Justin, Mary and the other hygienists are always happy and helpful! I'm so grateful for their care!

I have been having my dental work done at Hugo Dental for more than a decade. From cleanings, to repairing damaged fillings, to locating and repairing cracked teeth, they have helped me out on many occasions. Every experience has been friendly and professional. Who would think that a trip to the dentist could be enjoyable? This was my first time here and it completely surpassed my expectations! Every staff member was friendly and personable, not just being nice because it's their job. (And if they were I couldn't tell so that's just as good to me!) Extremely accommodating to my schedule as well.

Being that I had avoided going to the dentist for several years due to a horrible experience that I had that left me pretty much Done with dentists, I figured it was time to get over my fear and get a check up. And might I say that I was very that happy that I did, the staff was friendly and caring and took care of me with NO judgement! Mary inspected and cleaned my teeth (poor thing) And I had a 1 cavity and one cracked tooth that Dr.Eklund took care of and reassured me that all of what I worried about would be just fine! And she showed great care and concern explaining to me everything that she was doing and what I would be feeling, before I knew it the procedure was over and she sent me on my way with total restored faith in going to the dentist again. My experience was awesome, and the staff is AMAZING! thank you again!!

Hugo dental is without a doubt the very best dental office and staff I’ve dealt with in my 65 years of life. I’ve been a patient for 10 years and every time I have an issue and am in need of quick attention they always find a way to get me in! Both dentists and their supporting staff exceed my expectations every time I go!!! I highly recommend Hugo Dental you’ll be a patient for life as am I.

Had to get a tooth pulled, very little pain, fast recovery, friendly staff.

Hugo Dental requiring payment before i left. i have delta dental insurance. Delta told me NOT to pay until AFTER they had paid the dentist. Hugo dental insisted i promise to pay the difference before i left the office. that's ridiculous. if they had looked at their records they'd have seen my wife had visited and didn't pay until Delta had paid the dentist. I can't do what they wanted if delta specifically told me not to. back to my old dentist, i guess.. reply: no this is NOT standard procedure. before you low me off, maybe talk to delta dental who told me that's ridiculous. Maplewood dental doesn't charge at time of visit and I have watched everyone in that office leave after treatment. work out a billing system, re-examine it. i'll return to my original dentist, so no worries.

This place has to be one of my favorite dentists ive ever had. After years of having a not so good dentist Dr. Kristin and her team were such an awesome relief to come across. I recommend them to anyone looking for a GREAT dentist and have sent numerous people to them because they are all great people in this office.

I enjoy the people and they do great work. I'm self insured for dentistry and they work with me to keep in my budget.

I've been going to Dr. Eklund for years and it has always been a pleasant experience. Dr. Eklund is very knowledgeable and up to date on new technology and practices of dental care. She takes the time to explain any issue(s) she finds, the probable causes, and the possible options to correct the issue(s). She takes great pride in her work and has a gentle hand. The staff at Hugo Dental only adds to the positive experience by making you feel welcomed from the moment you step in the door!

They are all good but Mary the hygenist is the best!

Excellent service, superior staff, Julie, Stephanie are all very very helpful. the work with my schedule, my kids schedules. The hygienists know the kids and make them comfortable. This is a great office for maintaining your dental health.

Very friendly staff, she knew my name without asking for it and it was my second time there. That is someone who is ready for their day and on their game when dealing with customers. Top notch service. They called me and got my appointment moved up which is great for me.

The "lady" who answer's the phones named "Stephanie" is extremely rude. I think "His" name is actually Stephen. Sounds like a high school valley man. He/She is extremely rude and lost my companies business. We were trying to set appointment for our entire group home of 45 children & adults and it was extremely rude and cost the wonderful doctors there a ton of business. Shame on the the guy who answers the phones

I drive up from Maplewood because they are honest and treat their patience with respect. The service is excellent and the doctors are knowledgeable.
