Went to the Mahnomen location it was horrible. No patients with my son with autism or compassion to how he was felling. Told me to bring him to another place to fix his teeth that she couldn't help. It was the lady dentist Dr. G. I give this nightmare a negitve 10

We had just switched to this clinic from Bagley Dental (we loved Bagley Dental 🙂). Maybe a few weeks after the switch, my 9 year old son came to me saying a piece of his tooth had broken off. I wanted to get him in before it started giving him pain. So, our first appointment there, he had to get a tooth pulled - We're going to a new place with a new dentist doing a procedure he'd never had done. He handles cleanings just fine but never had a tooth removed. I wrote in the forms that he does have a fear of dentists and these papers were looked over beforehand. They get him set up in the room, take x-rays, numb the area, and start the procedure. During the procedure, my son had reached his hands up a few times, scared of the tools. At one point, Dr. Alex set them down and began scolding my son while he was laying on the chair crying. Dr. Alex said we can't come back here if he tries that again, he's going to hurt more, and he has 5 and 6 year old kids in there that handle it better than him. Patients can be difficult sometimes, especially when they're at a new facility and doing a new procedure. Dentists are trained to inform, remain calm, and take a pause if the patient is overwhelmed. Many people end up with dental anxiety because of a single bad experience with a dentist. This wasn't handled appropriately and allowing my son to have two prizes afterward doesn't make up for that.

I went here for wisdom teeth removal the other day, I had the best experience, everyone there is helpful and did an excellent job on the surgery, got all 4 out and felt very little to no pain throughout and after. Remarkable job! Thank you! Definitely recommend!
