I recently switched my children over to Hyland Dental in Mankato. My 14 year old has significant dental anxiety and the staff at Hyland Dental were amazing and patient with him. They explained everything they did before they proceeded. He was smiling when we left the office. This past week, I took my 1 year old for his FIRST dental appointment. He ALSO had a great experience. The environment is calm and the staff were so gentle and kind with him. The total appointment was also quick- which is important for a 1 year old who doesn't have the patience to sit in a dental chair. They also coordinated everything with our insurance seemlessly. I can't say enough good things about Hyland Dental and the staff.

When I was a kid, I didn't care for my dentist. I always felt scolded for not doing enough to care for my teeth. It left me anxious into my adulthood at going to the dentist. I had to switch dentists and Covid made an easy excuse to put that off. However early this year, I was having some tooth pain so I asked around and Hyland was recommended to me. I was able to schedule an exam fairly quickly. They directed me to the forms online so that I could fill them out at home instead of at the office. Upon coming to the office I was greeted by friendly staff. The exam went well and everyone showed grace and care instead of the judgmental feelings I had when I was younger. They explained what I needed to get caught up on my routine care and what we needed to do about my tooth with pain. They went over the costs as well so there were no surprises. I was scheduled for two cleanings with Caroline who took extra care to make sure I was comfortable. She did a great job and answered my questions, then followed up with an ongoing plan for future cleanings. I was referred to a specialist for a root canal, but Dr Hyland did the work for the crown that was needed for my tooth. They are able to make the crowns in the office the same day and she took the time to make sure it fit perfectly. Again this procedure was done with care and I had very little discomfort. The entire staff made me feel so much better about dental visits and I'm glad I found a new dental team I can trust and not feel anxious about future visits.

My family has been seeing Amanda and her team for over 5 years now. I look forward to seeing all the familiar faces greet us when we walk in the door. My children get exceptional care with through reports at the end of each visit. Hyland Dental truly strives in comprehensive dental care!

Coming to a new dental office is not easy, but the whole staff at Hyland Dental made me feel welcome from the front office to the back. I recently needed to have them look at a filling that broke and they were so accommodating! They answered my concerns and made me feel comfortable. So happy that I've found a great Dentist!

Top notch crew from check in to the dentists themselves. Squeezed us in and took care of a broken tooth on our little guy quickly. Very knowledgeable and helpful with the pediatric interventions for jaw issues, alignment, and more!

Because of the pandemic, I lost a job and insurance. I also did not feel comfortable attending in-person visits during that time. This lapse caused me to become a non-patient, without any forewarning, and your office refused to see me as a “previous client”. At a vulnerable time for many, I was made to feel that the policy and dollar are more important than me as an individual and member of this community along with my son. It’s unfortunate and heart breaking that I have no recourse while your institution has every protection in discontinuing service. You played by all the rules, but your actions are still unjust and my family must contend with actual harm in your negligence. All I wanted was to continue being a patient, it makes me want to cry

I've recently become a patient. They've done the basic x-rays & cleaning. Today's filling was the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. I only wish they would take my insurance.
