March 2023: This is my third time at DENTISTS OF SAVAGE. The entire team demonstrates competence, a can-do attitude, and professionalism. Another plus is their location near Fresh Thyme, Cole's Salon, Banfield Pet Hospital, Walgreens, Chipotle Grill, Chuck & Don's Pet Food, and more! You can get a lot done in addition to your dental appointment in this part of Savage. When you make your appointment, ask for Dr. Simic, who is warm, energetic, and SMART! I appreciate how she is sensitive to my current financial situation, which has improved, without making me feel like a loser in life. She is simply the BEST! They all are! October 2022: I strongly recommend that you book an appointment at DENTISTS OF SAVAGE. I have been to DENTISTS OF SAVAGE twice and both experiences were excellent! The first time was for an emergency root canal and crown. DENTISTS OF SAVAGE were flexible and were able to fit me into their schedule. I wish I could remember the names of the people who treated me, but I was in so much pain, my focus was elsewhere. However, what I do remember is that the people who treated me (receptionist, x-ray technician, hygienist, dentist) demonstrated compassion, professionalism, a can-do attitude, patience and excellent communication skills. At no point did I feel they were taking advantage of my painful situation. The second time was for a routine exam and cleaning. Dr. Simka, Kierra and Brigitte demonstrated competence, excellent communication skills, warmth, flexibility, and a can-do attitude. I appreciated Dr. Simka taking the time to explain what was going on with my teeth and gums and my options moving forward. I will definitely ask for her the next time I schedule an appointment at DENTISTS OF SAVAGE. I appreciated the level of professionalism and proficiency demonstrated by Brigitte and Kierra. I look forward to seeing them again in six months.

This dentist office is horrible I’ve went to many dentists and this was my first bad experience I ever had. They make you wait forever even after getting numbed up, on top of that they change prices. Horrible horrible do not recommend going here. Absolutely ridiculous

We went there several times for treatments, every time we had to wait for like 2-3 hours to get services and I don't think the dentist was capable of doing his job. Bad experience! We would never go there again.

They were easy to talk to and so kind - they all were so patient and explained everything to me. Plus i booked day of which is not common for a dentist appointment. Highly recommend!!

The first dental clinic to make me consider that prognosis could be inflated to increase profits. I have seen a few other reviews that were in line with my observation and, although lengthy, I'd like to take a minute to share my experience. At one of the visits, a "crack was detected in a tooth" and I was urged to schedule a crown as soon as possible. Pressure was higher than expected and I found it difficult to come to an agreement that we would wait until next visit to see if it had developed. I was surprised at this cracked tooth prognosis because no previous dentists had ever mentioned the issue. But of course, I'm not a dentist and I am not trained to decipher x-rays, I planned to schedule the crown after the next visit. At the next visit I received an exam and was told that I had stage two periodontal disease. Quite shocked and worried, I asked about treatments that could mitigate this advanced version of gum disease and was quickly given pricing. On this visit the urgency for a crown had shifted to the urgent need for root planing to treat the periodontitis. Again, I was caught off guard by an immediate need to put money down to remedy an issue that had never been brought to my attention before. I decided to get a second opinion from a highly respected dental office and I pointedly asked the hygienist and two dentists to review my x-rays, pocket depths, and gum health for signs of a cracked tooth or stage two gum disease. Of the three professionals, not one supported either claim that I needed a crown or had gum disease of any stage. The hygienist explained that, at worst, there were two teeth that could be considered to have light indications of gingivitis. Ultimately, I understand both of the recommended procedures to be high margin operations and felt as though the prognosis given were inconsistent and pressured, perhaps to bolster profits. They helped me through more than just my teeth when I needed an emergency visit for an infection. I have extreme PTSD and anxiety amd dentist visits never go well for anyone involved, but here it was an absolute breeze. All of the staff was very helpful, the dentists were extremely knowledgeable and I felt very welcomed when I usually feel the opposite. I'd drive an hour and a half again.

Dr. Jelena Simic is the best dentist I’ve ever had!

Very good staff... While I needed a root canal and crown all other dentists where scheduling me 2 months out... Jelena S D.D.S knows her business and cares about the patients and Alexys D in financial complements the team... She's the game changer. Dentists of Savage will put your dental health in front of profits everytime... Kudos to all that work there....

The quality of patient care here is outstanding! I have dental anxiety which is normally a problem, but thanks to the empathetic and friendly staff here, I feel relaxed and comfortable during my visits. The hygienist is Top tier, and the amount of services offered in one space is a huge benefit for scheduling. Thank you Dentists of savage!

I sat for over 4 hours to get a crown. Random people kept popping in and out. I barely was able to connect with anyone. The doctor was nice however I felt that I was shoved in a room and would be helped when they got around to it. I scheduled this appointment in advance and didn't just walk in. Ive had crowns done before at other clinics and they are done way faster than this and I usually would have time to connect and speak with the doctor instead of sitting and waiting like a visit to a DMV.

Very welcoming and KIND! My boyfriend had an appointment set for a week out but couldn't tolerate the pain, they go us in for an emergency procedure and helped us navigate payment options! Needless to say, they took great care of us and I recommend them 100%%!! Thanks team! 😊

This is my second time going there, Staff is so helpful, answered to all my questions and suggested the needed treatment. Really appreciate all the help!

Great comforting staff and great dentists

I've been going here for several years. Unfortunately, there are very high amounts of staff turnover. I attend regular 6 mos. cleanings and haven't had the same dentist more than two visits in a row. Today, my appointment was scheduled at 2:30p. I completed all my forms ahead of time online and wasn't called back until almost 10 min. past my appointment time. At nearly 45 min. past my appt. time I was finally seen but was told afterwards they were running behind and I'd need to schedule a separate session to have my teeth cleaned (what I was here for). While the staff was friendly, 5 of the 6 people I interacted with were entirely new and the overall affect was very salesy/. I'm trying my luck across the street at Prior Lake Dental instead.

My whole family comes here. The staff is extremely nice and professional, especially to my kids. They make the experience a lot less scary for them!
