I called Associated as a new patient because are located close to my house. I should have came here sooner. They were very courteous and worked with me until they knew what and what not my insurance covered because I had no idea at that point. Very friendly staff who performed great!

My experience was fantastic

I enjoyed my first visit at the dentist today! I have answers about my wisdom teeth and a treatment plan for the cavities they found. Brittany, Tammy, and Dr Yick we’re very nice.

We had our first visit today and it went very well. Brittany, Dr. Yick, and Tammy were very knowledgeable and professional. We have a treatment plan in place and are excited to pursue a better and healthy smile for our daughter. I would give 10 stars but it only allows 5.

I've been a patient for over 15 years and always receive excellent care. Dr Ruhlmann and Kristine are the best, answering all my questions and keeping me comfortable during my visit. I highly recommend them and the entire staff at Associated Dentists.

I have found the staff at Associated Dentists to be consistently excellent, as well as kind and professional. Dr. Ruhlmann is so easy to work with and I feel completely confident in his treatment and care. The rest of the staff has been helpful and friendly at all times. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Associated Dentists at 1371 7th St., St. Paul. I have been seeing Dr. Butkus for about 7 years. He is amazing as are the other Dentists and staff at this location. They have all the state of the art equipment and the expertise to use it. They have always been on the cutting edge of dental technology and keep up with the advancements being made in the industry. Besides that, they are nice people, I mean really nice. It is always a wonderful experience going there.

This used to be a great dental office when Dr. Hernandez was there now if feels shady. They told me I needed a lot done I went to a different dental office and my insurance cover what I needed none.

When the other dentist couldn't cut it whatsoever & Dr. Butkus saved my tooth. Take a look at these pictures & you'll see what I mean (don't get too grossed out where you can see red). All the photos are labeled for which part of the process/ sequence they convey. A previous Wayzata dentist with decent reviews kept failing in having a crown work properly (it would just fall out) & charged allot of money anyway, meanwhile the tooth was more endangered of rotting to the nerve & that leaves me far worse off and not much else is more scary than tooth failures & pain. Dr. Butkus has become an adhesive specialist & taken further courses in this speciality and so this helpless tooth became a hope realized just in time. Wow. Lucky me! If you have a challenging tooth & you have a chance to see Dr. Butkus, lucky you! Well, in the past three years I've had four crowns so it also pays to realize how to have fewer cavities - and I learned something valuable and I will share it here & check back in a few years & let you all know, if you're curious, if the results are reflecting my efforts & intent. While I eat a great diet low in sugars and low in carbs I was still getting too much tooth decay! What is the likely culprit? Cream, milk, half & half in my daily warm cozy beverage (no sugar & no artificial sweetener, but yes on the dairy). I'd sip on this for hours, most days. Well, my mouth saliva ph was measuring at 6.0 & it can dip to 5.5 ph & that is too acidic & that lower & frequent ph contributes to cavities. The saliva breaking down the sugars in the dairy makes a more acidic mouth! No more dairy in my sipping hot (non-caffeinated non-coffee) beverage! I'm working on raising my mouth ph to 7. Dr. Butkus & his assistant Andrea both recommended I try "Elementa" (can be bought directly on their website & on Amazon; it's a nano silver mouthwash that has had good results for troubled patients. I have been coming to Associated Dentists since the late 1970's and saw Dr. Winter and Dr. Resch, both of whom were highly skilled. I just had a procedure with Dr. Blackwell and Sarah which went very well - again, I'm amazed at their skill level. I highly recommend this clinic.

I’ve been going here since I was four. And currently in my 40’s. I feel so comfortable with them. I drive 45 minutes still to be seen at the St. Paul location. At this point it feels wrong to go anywhere else. 🙂

The staff here are friendly. Appointments tend to run pretty far behind schedule on Thursdays and Fridays, and so I wouldn’t come 10 minutes early (as they request) if you’re pressed for time on the day of your appointment

The staff here are kind and professional with all interactions. Dr. Butkus is honest in his personal and professional recommendations for my treatment and collaborative care. He even remembered personal details from my life when I moved away and returned after a few years. Highly recommend!

I had a toothache that brought me to my knees in pain. In tears over thanksgiving. When Dr. Blackwell told me I needed a root canal my heart sank to my stomach in fear. He was unbelievably amazing. Walked me through the entire process. There was zero pain. I wasn’t uncomfortable once. That evening and the following days there was no discomfort. I was absolutely shocked. I’m so incredibly thankful for Dr. Blackwell. I couldn’t say enough good things about him. HIGHLY recommend him!!!

I had a great experience at Associated Dentists last week. I saw Dr. Ruhlmann and his assistant Kristine. They walked me through the procedure and told me what to expect. I have been a long time patient here and have always appreciated everyone that works at Associated Dentists!

A dentist friend recommended me to Dr Butkus at Associated Dentists after new fillings put by my former dentist caused me alot of pain for a couple months. My former dentist couldn’t figure out the problem and gave poor solutions so I had no choice but to get a second opinion. This was the BEST decision ever. Dr Butkus assessed my teeth and knew what the exact problem was. Took a conservative approach and fixed the two problematic fillings. I felt a difference as soon as the numbness went away. I am finally able to eat, drink, and floss comfortably after 4 months. I am so grateful to Dr Butkus and Ruby for their thorough and skilled work on my teeth. The quality of Dr Butkus’s work is on another level. Because of this I am switching my husband and daughter’s dental care to Associated Dentists as well.
