Dr Jaksa and team have been amazing for me and my family for many years. His skill in cosmetic dentistry is amazing, and he has handled some significant challenges for me to improve my oral health. Additionally, he is great with my kids, and has helped them to develop a healthy respect for their dental health without talking down to them. I can't thank them enough for helping me with some painful challenges and incredible cosmetic work.

To say Dr. Jaksa and his assistant Jess are amazing does not say enough. I was a patient at a different dental clinic. A crown was replaced at the other dental office that became very painful. I returned to the dentist that put the crown and was told it was my bite. It was getting more painful by the hour. I called Lake Area Dental on a Wednesday afternoon. They made time for me that evening, they stayed late for someone that was not even a current patient. This is a dental office that definitely cares about people. A root canal was needed on my tooth, if not for Dr Jaksa who knows what would have happened to my tooth. I will never go to another dental office - if I could give more than 5 stars I would. THANK YOU Lake Area Dental you have a patient for life.

Dr Jaska is very good at what he does. He does what needs to be done and does it well. He is a perfectionist and a realist. I definitely would recommend going to him for any of your dental needs.

This is the best dental clinic in the Twin Cities. I'm in the health care field myself, so I understand professionalism and quality of care. Dr. Jaksa has taken care of me for 35 years and most recently performed the best cosmetic dentistry on my teeth that one could ever hope for. His assistants, Mandy and Jess are excellent and very caring while you are in the chair. Dr. Jaksa is very fortunate to have these wonderful women beside him on a daily basis. Dr. Jaska created a great pair of choppers for me. My new teeth look great and work perfect. His work is that of an artist of dentistry. A true master of his craft. I highly recommend his practice if you want quality work done.

He wanted to crown a tooth that was mostly filling.. only reason i found out the tooth was mostly filling is because i went to my previous dentist to get an opinion. Would’ve costed me way more and time& $ if I had gotten what he had suggested only to need it completely pulled a few years later down the line.

Went in for a cleaning, was given three appointments just to figure out what needed to be done to my teeth, charged each time to go in just to have my teeth looked at and examined, work was started on my teeth before the doctor even reviewed mt dental plan to consider if my plab even covered what needed to be done. Was told I needed a root canal and the root canal was started but not finished because the doctor said he had never encountered a rear molar with only 2 canals. He said molars usually have 3 canals and that my molar had "bizarre anantomy" that he had never seen and that ot would cost me 1200 dollars. Told me after he started doing the procedure for a root canal that my dental plan doesnt cover root canals and said that most dental plans usually cover root canals and that its "weird" that my dental plan doesnt cover root canals after already having began drilling at my molar and beginning the root canal. Also tried referring me to a specialist that he recommended was a really good specialist to finish the root canal he started since he couldnt finish it himself except for it would instead of costing me 1200 dollars ot would cost me 1800 dollars instead. I was confused and upset that my molar had already been drilled into and the job wasnt done....much more to say but enough has been said. I was simply taken advantage of and the practice tried to send me to another doctor who he knew and who he has previosly sent other clients to in the past to get the root canal done that he could not finish but to be charged at a higher amount than what other dentist charge.

Dr. Jaksa is a highly skilled professional craftsman that actually cares about his patients. I wouldn’t call him a dentist, he’s redefined the meaning or better yet, he’s what all dentists should be. His staff is amazing, they always make me feel welcome, they are the most caring and kind people, which really helps get you through the sometimes painful and embarrassing circumstances. I’ve been to more than a few dentists and this team is hands down number 1. The Best.

I started going to see Dr. Jaksa after a recommendation from a friend. I have been very pleased with how he provides dental care. Even though he is an excellent "cosmetic" dentist, he is all about function. Your teeth need to be in the correct location in order to work properly and to avoid wear. He will take the time to sit with you and explain the details, because he knows this is an important decision to make, depending on what needs to be done. But if you are going to have your teeth adjusted to work properly, he knows how to do it to make them look great, as well being mechanically correct. Working with Dr. Jaska on my dental care has been a great experience. If you do need to have major work done (like I did because I had the habit of grinding my teeth because they didn't fit together properly and were wearing out), he reviews your case with expert orthodontists he works with so that there is more than one set of eyes looking at your teeth and bite before anything is done. As far as cost I don't have any direct experience because once I met Dr. Jaksa I never looked for pricing from anyone else because I didn't want anyone else working on my teeth. What I do know though is that when others came to me concerned about estimates they received from other dentists and I referred them to Dr. Jaksa, they said his estimates were lower, which amazed me because of all the prework he does and the top of the line materials he uses for caps and even fillings. I know my children are in good hands with Dr. Jaksa and they will have teeth that will last a lifetimes because they will mechanically work together properly. I have recommended Dr. Jaksa to others. The result? They thanked me and they started bringing their own families to see him. I think that says it all.

I've been seeing Dr. Jaksa for a long time. He is very experienced and stays up to date with best practices. The work he has done on me has been done right the first time. I like that he isn't just focused on fixing my issues, but also cares about how things affect me in the long term.

I have been going to Dr Jaksa for 23 years with my kids. I know I am in good hands because he is very conscientious with the work he does. I also had cosmetic work performed by him and I would recommend his services to anyone who realizes the importance of having healthy teeth.

Astounding... skill, quality of service, team, and efficiency. Dr. Jaska reviewed my case and presented a 1:1 concise plan of action that was cost effective addressing proximal and distal objectives. I assumed that I would not be able to afford such quality of care to correct past sub-par dental work and numerous dental health challenges; I was holding out for false teeth. Dr. Jaska was willing to work with my financial plan by helping to set priorities. I have gone to any old dentist in the past and it shows because the work was done poorly. Dr. Jaska appears to take pride in his work as evidenced in his skill and dental artistry. Dr. Jaksa is the greatest dentist ever, I have had nothing but great experiences with him and his office, friendly staff that really cares. I am self employed and everything is out of pocket for me, he is very considerate of this, makes every apt the best value for me and my family. He is such a master at his craft and shows such care in his work I no longer have fear of going to the dentist. I bring all 3 of my kids to see him and they love going.
