Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces

I honestly can't comment on the QUALITY of their dental service because after 3-4 weeks of cancellations and constant re-scheduling (on their part, not mine) we were not even able to be seen. Keep in mind, this entire time my daughter is in pain....really needed to be seen, and HAD a referral from her dentist which, by the way, is not good enough for Sunnybrook. You must be first seen by THEIR dentist in order to get referred to THEIR oral surgeon. Strange. My daughter needed her wisdom teeth extracted. Sunnybrook is in my insurance network so I gave them a shot. After scheduling appointments 2-3 times using their online appt scheduling system, I was finally sent an email informing me that the days/times I'd picked (each time) were unavailable....even though they were shown as "available" in the system. After finally speaking to someone and setting up an appt over the phone, I was sent another email a couple days later informing me that that appt was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled. So I spoke to someone again who rescheduled us for a Saturday. A couple days later, I got another message (I think it was a voicemail this time) informing me that the appt was going to have to be cancelled again because "we don't see 19 year-olds on Saturdays." Really??? I'm generally a very patient person. But this was enough for me. So long-story short....the dentists here may be great....I have no clue. But the system they have in place for scheduling patients (especially new patients) is pretty terrible. We scheduled an appt in an "out-of-network" clinic (took all of 5 minutes) and I will gladly pay over $1000 more to actually get my daughter treated and not have to go through the hassle of trying to see someone at Sunnybrook. Please do better. David

We RV full time and had a filling fall out. They were wonderful. Had an appointment the next day and was in and out in an hour. Friendly wonderful staff.

Wait is ridiculously long

I’d like to give ZERO stars… First the wait time is horrible, no one comes to check to see if you’re ok as far paperwork, we waited nearly an hour before I went to the front to ask about paperwork to complete. Why wait for an hour then be given paperwork to fill out when it’s time to go to the back?!! While waiting to be called, you would think paperwork would be given to fill out while waiting. I wonder how much longer I would have waited had I not gone to the front desk to ask. I was under the impression that parents ARE “allowed back”. For x-rays my child DID need assistance, I was told to “have a seat”… My child did not cooperate (I understand being scared), I eventually was “allowed” but my little one was too frightened at this point; same with Dr Tom S. Tom has NO business being around young children or children PERIOD! Tom has ZERO bedside manners with regard to helping a frightened child during dental care. My little one was moving about a lot and screaming, instead of being patience with my child, Dr Tom said “you’re not an animal, you’re a human, be still!” That IS VERY rude and VERY DISRESPECTFUL! My little was biting down as Tom tried looking in mouth, Tom says “you’re not going to bite me, I won’t be bitten by you!” He walked out saying “I have other patients to see!” He act like he didn’t want to be bothered (not sure if he acts like this with others, of course we will NOT be returning! My little one was scared, Dr Tom was not very welcoming when he first entered the exam area. His tone with a child was VERY RUDE!! I’ve heard bad things when it “was” Kool Smiles (seems the same now that I’ve gone). I thought I’d give it a try because so far this is the only pediatric dental office that I know of where at least one parent is “allowed” back with a minor child. Tom has ZERO business being a “dentist” for young children, he’s VERY RUDE, and DISRESPECTFUL, he is NOT welcoming, nurturing or caring of which you SHOULD have when taking care of children at a

The wait time is ridiculous! Every single time I bring my child here we wait for about an hour at least. I do not recommend coming as a new patient.

My granddaughter needed a tooth recapped and I was afraid it would take a while to get an appointment. We got the appt only two days after we called and were fortunate to see Dr. Harris, her professionalism and kindness is always appreciated. Thanx to the Sunnybrook staff 🙂

Amber and Dr. Harris is very kind. Gets things done in a timely manner and very respectful and understanding.

Hard working Dentists and Doctors even when they have a lot of people to attend to they get it done as quick as possible ensuring you get in and out quick

Been taking my kids here for years, but Ms. Jessica is by far our favorite person. My daughter will not see anyone else in Ortho but her. She is awesome!

My daughter, Dory, had a wonderful experience. Alex, the Ortho Manager was the best. Also, the Ortho Assistants were top notch. Would highly recommend!
