I had not been back to the dentist since the pandemic due to my concern. I was looking for a new dentist and my coworker (a PT who treats jaw pain) recommended I go to Dental Care STL. I am now fully COVID-19 vaccinated, but even if I were not, I'm sure I would feel comfortable with all the safety measures Dental Care STL has in place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I work 10 hour days and I was able to secure my first appointment communicating by email only because my hours don't make it feasible for me to call an office during typical business hours. Unfortunately I had to have several fillings done. I do have jaw pain and have often had issues after dental care. Dr. Ahmad-Majeed was very sensitive to this and would allow me to take breaks (without me even asking), so my jaw musculature would not be too fatigued. She was also very aware of positioning, making sure my neck was not positioned in an awkward angle. I didn't have any jaw or neck pain after my procedure! I am so thankful for the care I received at Dental Care STL!

Shelley and Abby were great. It seems like they know what they are doing. But on the other side, Dr. Apte did not convince me that she will a doctor to whom I would confide my teeth health. She was guessing which teeth should be fixed, also she mumbled so I was not sure if she was talking to me, the hygienist or herself. She did not demonstrate a knowledge that would convince me to go back, so I decided to find another dentist.

I have always had extreem anxiety regarding dental visits. So bad that I had been putting off my visit for close to 5 years. Dr Apte was recommended to me by a trusted friend. Not only was I anxious about the cleaning but added shame of letting it go for so long. Dr Apte passed no judgment. She was kind , very gentle and kept checking on me with every touch. I ended up having to get a few cavities filled as well --- I can't believe how easy and painless she made my procedure. The office was clean, comfortable. I can't tell you what a relief it is finding them. Now i have a team of professionals that changed the way I felt about the dentist. Thank you Dr Apte and Team!!!!!!
