After so many painful, degrading and failed visits to other dentists, I have finally found a team that truly cares about the comfort of my experience! I have had a long time fear of drilling which caused me to neglect my oral health. After a lot of back and forth, I finally called Shine Dental. The staff are incredibly kind and understanding. They meet you right where you are and help you through every step of the way. I had some fillings done today and when I say the laser is life changing I truly mean it! No painful rumbles or high pitched whizzing noises, just a very light popping noise. So if you are looking for help with your teeth and gums without drills, judgement, or pain, then go see the team at Shine! Thank you guys so much!

Amazing dental office

Great experience. Both dentist and hygienist were very tentative and caring. They triple checked that I was comfortable and that I wasn’t in pain. Fantastic service! I’ll be making this my permanent dentist in town and you should too.

Kylie and Dr. J made everything so comfortable and extremely easy to understand. They were real with me when it came to costs after my insurance only covered a smidge of the total. So they offered another helpful route so I can still move forward with my dental plans. Such a huge relief when finding a good dental hygienist! I highly recommend!

I can’t speak highly enough of this practice and all the staff. I was visiting from NZ and needed my implant post tended to. They did everything to obtain the correct tools and sort the problem immediately. I am so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. Amazing practice.

Shine Dental has the best dental care team in town!

I love Shine Dental! I hadn't been to the dentist in, way to long to mention... and I ended up having an emergency tooth issue. They were able to get me in the same day and were SO kind. I have always had a fear of the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable and safe. It was such a positive experience for me and has changed my feelings towards going to the dentist. I would recommend them to everyone I know!!

Amazing and super friendly staff. The service and flexibility with scheduling is also amazing. The dentist is knowledgeable and is pretty great at what he does. They're at the cutting edge of dentistry tech (as far as I know), and have their own equipment to make fillings and teeth parts so you know it'll be a quick visit and you're out of the door with a great smile. Would recommend this place to anyone I know!!

Shine is awesome. I have horrible dental anxiety and these people do everything in their power to put you at ease. I have never been seen by a nicer, more professional staff of people and would happily recommend them to anyone. They will take care of you from check-in to check-out like you are family, and Dr. Justesen did everything in his power to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. One of the things that made a big difference for me is that they use a laser instead of traditional drilling. I have a visceral reaction to the sound of the drills and it's one of the things that causes the most anxiety for me. The sound is unbearable and having a drill in your mouth is stressful, but the utilization of the laser changes all of that. The sound is much more tolerable. There's no weird pressure/vibration sensation. It seems a LOT faster too, and less traumatic to the tissue. They also offer a ton of comfort options like weighted blankets and ice cold bottled water. If you have dental anxiety at all, this absolutely the place to go.

Fantastic staff, this was the first dentist appointment that I actually learned important information regarding my dental health. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality dentist local to Bozeman.

Simply the best

Dr. J. saw me emergently on his day off when I was visiting from out-of-town. I'd broken a tooth late the night before, a Friday, and was in pain. I left a message for him Saturday morning and he phoned me back within 10 minutes. I was in his chair in 2 hours. He removed a broken piece and told me a crown was needed. I knew that to be true because my home dentist was scheduled to do a crown for me on that very tooth two weeks later. Because Dr. J. was willing to see me on his day off I wanted to give him my business. I cannot imagine the process being any more fantastic. A machine produced a 3-D image of my teeth, and another machine fashioned the crown. While that was being done, he had me sit in a massage chair! The crown fit perfectly and he cemented it in. Two days later I was without any remaining sensitivity and could give it no thought when eating. And get this; he called me Monday to see how I was doing! What a great guy and great dentist. He's a genius and obviously enjoys his work and helping people. He does a bit more than general dentistry so I hope you give him the chance to work with you. I'm disappointed he can't be my home dentist!

So happy with Dr Justesen and staff. After not being happy for a long time at a large dental office in town, I feel so great going to this office. Wonderful atmosphere and a cooperative environment. Not the our way or highway impersonal attitude of the large 19th street dental office I was going to. Couldn’t be happier with the experience and more importantly results of their dental work. Highly recommend!

Thank you to Dr J and his staff, they are so kind and reassuring. My experience today was pain-free and I have no worries coming back to get the rest of my work done. The laser was incredible, coupled with noise canceling headphones and nitrous oxide! Thank you so much!!!
