We came over to Shadowridge Dental about seven years ago. We were very unhappy with the “assembly line“ dental office where we had been going. The constant shifting from chair to chair and getting upsell made me feel like I was in on car lot. Shadowridge Dental gives you personalized, one-on-one service. I am always in and out quickly, and the services are provided in the minimum number of appointments. Bottom line, I don’t mind going to the dentist and my dental health as much improved.

Only recommendation would be to send explicit directions in relation to the old office location or send a map to all who will be coming to the new office location for the first time. Run! I had been going there for 2-3 years until recently. I had 2 fillings scheduled. When I scheduled the appointment I asked how much for the cavities to be replaced and was told it would be a $90 co-pay. When Dr Miller was replacing the fillings ( which I question if they even needed to be replaced) she said there is a third one you need done. Ok, well I had it done. When I left they said I was all good to go. 2 months later I got a bill for almost $600. Come to find out, after talking to Lauri the office manager they never did a pre Auth. My insurance only paid for silver fillings, I was never told this, never given the option by DR Miller. Your classic bait and switch and stick it to the patient. I paid and will not be back. Beware and make sure you have prices in writing first I guess.

This was meant for Shadowridge Dental in San Marcos, California. My hygienist was great (Kim). The reason for the one star is that the new dentist Dr. Huffmire, comes in to check my teeth without a mask on. My husband and I are immune compromised and with Covid, the flu and RSV circulating it was astounding to me that a medical professional was going to work in my mouth without a mask. To his credit he didn’t hesitate when I asked that he put one on but I shouldn’t have had to ask.
